- Toshiba has the Satellite S855-S5380, which lists for $799 on amazon. This model has an Intel i5 processor and HD 7680M graphics card. Although if you can pony up another $70, I would suggest the Lenovo Y580. It's on Amazon for $869, and has an Intel i7 and Nvidia GTX660M, which I've seen described as a 'upper mid-range' mobile graphics card.

- Yes - they work great! I recommend anyone who has a laptop use one. Also, when buying one I recommend one that has 2 or more fans, they just seem to cool better. I found a very inexpensive one on OKorder. No need to buy a real expensive one, the cheaper ones do the same job for less money. My son has one that has a light on it which is kind of cool.
