FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.

Q:Can anyone tell me why there are so many cheap gaming laptops on OKorder? They are all Dell, whats wrong with Dells? take a look:
I see a lot of laptops of which they claim it is a gaming laptop, but of which the graphics card is far from suitable for playing games at all. Anyone can call a laptop a gaming laptop, but not every laptop truly is suitable for playing games. If you are serious about playing games, nothing beats a normal computer. Laptops are simply not intended for playing games, since you can never upgrade the graphics card in the future like you can with a normal computer.
Q:I bought my laptop a year ago and just wondering how long a laptop can last.
At first you know why need change laptop ? Till it serviceable should not change it. After all no time limitation is available for changing the laptop.
Q:guys i need a laptop for my schooling and gaming also but not so expensive P.30,000-P.40,000have a better performance.memory and graphics. Is acer timeline 4810t a good laptop?
the acer is really good. also a really good recommendation is The Mac! one of te best computers ever!! but its expensive. So if youre going for a non high priced computer, i would go for the acer(i heard Dels are very hard to fix if something happens to them)
Q:and take an ethernet cable from the xbox to my laptop(vista) and use my laptop as the router?
Er no. You laptop is a laptop and a router is a router. Each is built for a specific job. If you have a router, just connect the Ethernet cable to that and connect it to your Xbox. You shouldn't need to use the cable to connect the router to your laptop anyway if you have a wireless-enabled laptop.
Q:I was wondering if it was possible to share an internet connection via an ad-hoc connection between two laptops. I want to use my laptop to connect to the internet, and then connect a laptop to my laptop to share the internet connection.
Yes, that's possible and you've almost got the right phrasing for what you want; it's called Internet Connection Sharing or ICS for short (they call it that in the Help and it took me a few minutes to figure it out - duh!). If you use an ethernet connection (network port) to get onto the internet, then you need TWO network ports on the laptop that connects to the internet. If you are using dial-up or the USB port (which is a bit dodgy so it's better to go with ethernet) then you only need one network port in either laptop. (Ethernet network ports are those ones that you put a blue or red cable into with a big plug at the end that looks similar to the one you use for your telephone - it's an RJ-45 if you want to look up a picture of them.) Then you need a network port (or network card) in the other laptop and a crossover network cable to run between them - a straight through cable is no good. You can tell the difference by checking to see if the wiring order of the colours on both plugs match; on a straight-through they match but on a crossover they don't. Then you run the ICS wizard on both laptops. Having done all that, there is still one catch - when you set up the Internet Explorer connection on the 2nd laptop (if that's what you use but I suggest Firefox because it's safer and tends to behave better) there is a spot where it wants you to Auto or Manual look for settings, if memory serves. (I've tried to find this thing again but haven't managed.) Anyway, just try different choices as you go through the connection wizard and it will work.
Q:Buying a laptop. What brand do you prefer?
I'm extremely happy I went with the HP Envy 14 Beats Edition laptop. I'm not one of those people that, when they need a new laptop, just runs to Staples and gets a crappy $400 laptop. But I'm also not one of those people who has the money to go to the apple store to get a $2000 laptop. After doing some research on the net I found that this is one of the few laptops in market which is comparable to macbook in terms of looks. But the caveat is that its quite heavy(5.8 lbs) and the battery backup is around 2 hours with power save settings. But the laptop is excellent in terms of heating since its very low , much better than any other laptops I have used in past. Overall for the configuration, looks ,performance and price I have to say that it is ENVY of all the other laptops in market.
Q:I have 2 laptops. One has a broken screen, but important stuff on the hard drive. The other is just a blah blah one, but the screen is working. Is there any way for me to use the blah laptop's screen as a monitor and have the good laptop as the main cpu? Or is there any way that I can just connect the good harddrive to use on the blah laptop?
no but u can use an etrenal screen
Q:I don't know anything about the Samsung laptops. I mainly see them as a cell phone and appliance maker. So do they make good quality laptops? Because I need a laptop for college
Samsung doesn't make good laptops believe me so if you need a reliable laptop that will last longer with fewer repairs then the Best laptops are Apple, Acer and Sony models. Following the Top 3 laptops are Lenova, HP and Toshiba models. Stay away from Samsung, Gateway and Dell models. My favorites that I own are Acer, HP and Toshiba laptops and HP desktop. I thru my Gateway laptop out the window hahaha true ok good luck on deciding which laptop you want :))
Q:I want to spend around $250-$350 on a decent laptop. I would like to be able to play games on it aswell. Not anything heavy duty though. What are some good laptops that can suit those needs?
With your budget I would go for hp
Q:Helloo,Are Apple Laptops the best in the world? Also what is the BEST laptop you can get under 2000 Australian Dollars? (xD)Are ASUS laptops good? How can i convince my parents to get me a laptop over 2000 AUD or just convince them to get me a laptop??THANXXXXX!!
something in that budget might have Vista dwelling house consumer-friendly, except its refurbished, and believe me that's going to be an extremely low end pc which would be gradual and valueless for many each and every thing
