- Q: Does the air force do bed checks? i was wondering because i want to live off base w/ my fiance but im only E-3 and i dont think they will let me live off base, does anyone know how i could make this work?
- you can live off base as an E3. and they don't give bad checks. I was an E-1 and live off post in the Army.
- Q: She will be 1 year old next month. We want to get her a bed. Her beautiful crib was awesome enough to fall apart with her in it! Funny because a week later, it was recalled! Figures... Anyways, we have her in a pack n play and its so hard and bumpy. I know shes not comfy... So we are goign to buy her a bed. Toddler or twin?? I really dont want to fork over a toddler then buy a twin. But shes a monkey. If i get rails i think she might crawl to the edge of the bed and roll off. - the difference between a toddler bed and a twin is length mostly... the heighth from the floor is the same, and for a little bit of money you can buy temporary fold down rails at walmart.... back in the good old days there werent toddler beds you simply went from crib to twin. dont foget if the crib got recalled , the company may compensate you.... with another one or replacement parts.

- They are called twin extra longs and measure 38 x 80 or 5 longer than a twin.

- They are suppose to be more powerful than regular bulbs so your skin tans faster. I've never noticed a difference.

- I would say she is probably too young to get a toddler bed. Have you tried her in a crib? My nephew has a crib that can be converted into a toddler bed, so it is more like a bed than a crib. Also, some babies like sleeping in their play pen/pack n play, have you tried that? If she won't sleep anywhere but with you, it sounds like she might want to be close to you, and not really care about the bed so much. Maybe try rocking her to sleep in your lep, and then laying her down.

A horse's respiratory system is not well suited for high volumes of dust. The smaller amounts of contaminated bedding is quicker to clean and makes the bedding less expensive by reducing the amount of bedding required, and saves on the time and effort required for mucking out. Rubber matting is a fairly new innovation providing a warmer, softer and more comfortable stable floor for your horse than concrete, brick, dirt, or wood flooring. Rubber matting also greatly reduces the amount of bedding required. A downside is horses don't like to lie down on bare mats. They prefer the comfort of a bedded area. So even though mats cut down on the amount of bedding needed, be kind to your horse and provide him with enough soft bedding to make him feel comfortable enough to lie down. I think its really up to you to decide how much bedding to put in your stall. I would put enough to absorb urine and,enough to offer your horse a confortable place to lie down.
