- In mobile devices haswell is much better because it is much more power friendly making it better for battery powered devices such as a laptopGiven your price range I doubt you will be able to find a laptop with a haswell chip and a dedicated video card to help with rendering and gaming on battlefieldI'd suggest a laptop with an AMD APU( it has a CPU and GPU built in to one chip)This will give you the power benefit of not having to power the dedicated GPU while still having similar performance to oneThat way you can use both the CPU and GPU for video rendering and possibly be able to play battlefield at low with not the best FPSRemember battlefield is going to be a demanding game requiring fairly high end machines.
