1,Cast Iron Manhole Cover Description :

manhole cover is a removable plate forming the lid over the opening of a manhole, to prevent anyone or anything from falling in, and to keep out unauthorized persons and material.

Manhole covers are often made out of cast iron, concrete or a combination of the two. This makes them inexpensive, strong, and heavy, usually weighing more than 50 kilograms (110 lb). The weight helps to keep them in place when traffic passes over them, and makes it difficult for unauthorised people not having suitable tools to remove them.

A manhole cover sits on metal base, with a smaller inset rim which fits the cover. The base and cover are sometimes called "castings", because they are usually made by a casting process, typically sand-casting techniques.

5FAQ:

We have organized several common questions for our clientsmay help you sincerely

Q. Can I fit a square manhole cover into a round chamber?

A. Yes, there are a select few manhole covers which are square-to-round, meaning they will fit square or round chambers.

Q. I have a heavy traffic manhole cover but it has been broken by a forklift, why?

A. Forklifts have solid wheels which apply pressure differently to standard pneumatics and therefore covers must be specially adapted to suit this.

Q. I’ve measured my clear opening size but none of your covers match it, can you offer anything?

A. It’s likely that your cover is quite old and in imperial measurements which are no longer manufactured. However, we can offer bespoke solutions with manhole covers made to the specification you require.

Q. The project I’m working on requires a manhole cover with a quality finish, what’s available?

A. Naturally, galvanised steel of black polypropylene aren’t always ideal, and so we offer brass or stainless steel edging, as well as complete stainless steel covers.

Q. Odours are coming through where I have installed my manhole cover, why?

A. Your cover must be sealed and locked, or neoprene sealed, so you would require a T-Range Cover, or if you require a solid top, a selection of the PC range (e.g. PC2BG3, PC6CG3, not PC2BG) are suitable.

Q. I need access through my manhole cover on a regular basis, is this possible?

A. Yes, the majority of covers have built-in lifting keys, and for those that don’t we also supply lifting keys. However, the best way to obtain easy access is to have a bespoke, hinged manhole cover.

Q: metal detecter circuitis that circuit wich detects any type of metal if present.
I agree with Grammaton; most pedals are pretty poor pieces of equipment. Try to find a good amp with good distortion, it'll sound nicer in the long run. If you really want a pedal, though, there are some good ones, such as the Ibanez Tube King (not Tube Screamer), which has a pretty nice distortion. However, the best pedal I've ever heard is the Boss Heavy Metal HM-2. It's a discontinued product, but you can find it on okorder for a reasonable price, and it sounds absolutely incredible. I own one and I use it fairly often, mostly on my 212 amp. My half stack sounds better just with its own distortion, though. But, go to some stores, try out some equipment, see what you think sounds best. After all, the best judge of your amp tone is you. As a last note, the Boss Metal Zone pedal is absolute crap. Avoid it at all costs, it sounds like canned bees.
Q: How are metals protected from oxidizing?
Black Metal - Is usually themed by demonic, godley, or astral lyrics, with high pitched screams and low tuned guitars. Celtic Frost, Old In Flames, Hate Forest, Imortal. Nu-Metal - Is basically what you'll hear commercially. Not much differnece between Nu-metal and heavy rock really. Adema, American Headcharge, Slipknot ect... Thrash metal - High tempo, quick paced metal, kinda like a harder faster new metal. Gojira, Doom, Dead Head. Death Metal - Death themed, high tuned guitar, quick tempo and heavy use of guitars. Low and high growling. Carcass, Abysmal Dawn. Animosity, Angel Death, Gandalf Doom metal - Slow tempo, doom and destructioned themed - Swallow the sun, Candelmass, Eternal Tears Of Sorrow. You kinda get the idea. If you simply say heavy metal nowadays, you basically refer to Nu-metal.
Q: and other types of metal
Metal Gear first came for a japanese console called MSX2, then after its success a nintendo version was made, but there are some difference and the most important is that there is no metal gear mecha in it. Solid Snake meets Otacon in Metal Gear Solid not Metal Gear. In Metal Gear, Solid Snake goes to South Africa and at the end fights Big Boss. They meet again in Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. This two games are included on the 2nd disc of Metal Gear Solid 3: Substance for PS2. There are 2 games for PSP, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops MGS: Peace Walker. You can play MGS on PS3 only on some PS3 models (some of the 2nd generation) you can play MGS2 MGS3.
Q: Any good nu-metal or alternative metal bands?
Death, Black, Speed/Thrash, Shred, Doom, Progressive, Power, Grindcore, Rap(metal), Industrial, Goth, Nu, Classic, Alternative (although many would argue that alternative metal is an oxymoron) Off the top of my head, this is all I can think of Death: Morbid Angel, Obituary Black: Mayhem, Emperor Speed/Thrash: Slayer, (vintage Metallica Megadeth) Shred: Jason Becker, Yngwie Malmsteen Doom: Winter, Candlemass Progressive: Rush, Dream Theater Power: Hammerfall, Iron Maiden Grindcore: Napalm Death, Dead Infection Rap: Rage Against the Machine, Korn---again many would argue this one type Industrial: Nine Inch Nails, Skinny Puppy Goth: Type O Negative, Carnivore Classic: AC/DC, Black Sabbath other heavy groups that flourished out of the 70's---many of whom many could categorize in other genres Nu/Alternative: Slipknot, Marylin Manson...another debatable type More info than asked of...I know
Q: Everyone keeps telling me they are not real metal.
because they have metal vocals, insturments, and call them selves metal. trust me hear im a metal head they have many qualifications to be called metal.....bullet for my valentine seems to have som lightere metal but as i lay dying is even played on hard attack the heavey metal channel for sirius sttelite radio
Q: can anyone tell me any cool non-english metal bands? especially german, romanian, japanese and korean.
Heavy Metal: Metallica Megadeth Judas Priest Black Sabbath Mot?rhead Diamond Head Budgie Angel Witch Manowar Metal Church Annihilator Voivod Thrash Metal: Metallica Megadeth Anthrax Slayer Exodus Flotsam Jetsam Kreator Overkill Destruction Testament Coroner Iced Earth Heathen Nuclear Assault Toxic Holocaust Warbringer Havok Sodom Death Metal: Death Deicide Morbid Angel Obituary Possessed Autopsy Bloodbath Hypocrisy Decapitated Pestilence Devourment Bolt Thrower These are just some bands to get you started with. And I'm not sure if you'll get into other metal subgenres straight away like from heavy metal to thrash then from thrash to death, as it might take time or you never know, you might not like it at all. But heavy metal and thrash have many similarities so you should like thrash too. People who listen to heavy metal also like thrash. I mean, Metallica was thrash back in the 80s and now they're heavy metal, and they're still great in my opinion (not as great as they used to though, but still)
Q: looking for a list of metals most corrosive to least
That's pretty much no contest. European metal. Scar Symmetry, Solution .45, Dan Swano, Edge of Sanity, Cyclamen, Iron Maiden, Firewind (originally Greek), Behemoth, Bloodbath, I could go on for aeons.
Q: topics in metal working
Tech death is going to be the new big thing along with djent. Djent has a certain appeal to it...look at how big bands like Periphery, Veil of Maya, and Meshuggah got.
Q: Hey i would like some help becuase I just really got into metal 1 year ago and I would like some help.I don't want to find some metal heads and act retarded in front of them or act like a poserAnd what to watch out for thx (:
What is the formula of the metal oxide. MO? M2O? MO2? You need to know in order to solve the problem. I will show you how to solve it, assuming it is MO (if it is not, you will need to account for that). If we pick an arbitrary number, like 100g, 67.2 g is metal and 32.8 g is oxygen. Since the atomic weight of oxygen is 16.0 g, 32.8 g O / 16.0 g/mol = 2.05 moles of oxygen. This is the part where the stoichiometry is important. Depending on the formula, this would determine the number of moles of metal. MO gives you 2.05 moles M (1:1 M:O), M2O gives you 4.10 (2:1 M:O), MO2 gives you 1.025 (1:2 M:O), etc. 67.2 g M / # moles M = MW of M Then use the atomic mass values on the periodic table to figure out what metal it is. Good luck.
Q: I recently wrote a rap song that has lyrics about heavy metal bands. mostly old school metal. my issue is would the metal fans frown upon it becuz i see a lot of metalheads hate rap. on the other side would the rap fans frown upon it beucz of the lyrics?
Bit of everything, depends on the band but I'm not really into Christian metal.
