- Q: Like in the piercing shops, they pierce it with the needle and the plastic tube thingy... Then they take the needle out and leave the hollow plastic tube in the put the lip ring..,... I was wondering where can I buy that?
- The needles are generally soldered by the piercer and the tube is special order. There is a reason that you have to be licensed to be a piercer you know, things like infection, sterilization, and laws
- Q: My 98 Stratus 2.4L 4 cyl is dripping clear clean water on the passenger side and has accumulated water in the blower motor area. How can I clean out the drain? Where is the drain?
- The drain will be on the passenger side, towards the bottom of the firewall. It should be below the 2 heater hoses that go intot he heater core. On yours, I think it was just a tube coming out of the firewall, it will have a foam gasket around the platic tube. The tube will protrude from the firewall just a little bit. Some have a 90 degree rubber elbow on the end of the tube. If it is just the plastic tube, without the elbow, then use either a wet/dry vac if you have one, or use a wire hanger to poke into the hole and try to remove whatever is blocking the drain. If you don't get it out, it might block it again later, or it might come out with the water. If you have the 90 degree rubber elbow, a quick trick is to squeeze it at the very end and roll it between your fingers to loosen the blockage. If that doesn't work, remove the elbow and clean it out, it will generally have the blockage in it. The elbow should have 2 pieces of wire sticking out, just squeeze these together and slide it off. Might have to give it a twist to get it to come loose. If you get the elbow off and water doesn't come rushing out, then clear the plastic tube, and check the elbow to be sure it isn't clogged.
- Q: I have a long flexible 1 plastic tube that is attached to itself forming a closed circuit and I'd like to add an electric blower to it to flow air continuously that will make a small ball go around continuously. I'd like to splice the blower into the 1 plastic tube but need to know where or how to exhaust the air to keep the air circuit moving continuously in one direction.
- The problem is not how to connect the blower, the problem is how to get the small ball to go through the blower (which you can't). What you have to do is to deflect part of the air in the tube to the blower input without allowing the ball to go that path. And then the blower pressurizes the air and injects it downstream of the pick off port. A high pressure low volume blower or pump might be best. That means a small pick off port and a small injection port.

- Mine did exactly the same thing. Yes clean the tube, take out all the sawdust and bedding. But save a little of the old sawdust (just not some that's been pee'd on. Then clean the tube with disinfectant. Put the little bit of dirty sawdust back into the tube. The add clean sawdust to the rest of the cage. put the bedding into the bed you bought, but chances are she'll just move it back into the tube
