Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) is non-ionic cellulose ether, made by natural high polymer cellulose as raw material and series of chemical processing. They provide water retention and cohesiveness to mixtures. With special modification, it can be used to control thickening, water demand, workability, sag resistance, strength and other important properties of the final product.

ETICS/EIFS
To save cost of heating or cooling power, ETICS (EIFS) (External Thermal Insulation Composite System / Exterior Insulation Finish System) is used to apply thermal insulating material and reinforcing mesh to the exterior of buildings.
HPMC is used in this application as a functional additive to improve adhesion strength, workability and pot life. Also it helps to delay drying out of the mortar surfae.

- No. I don't think they do. It would be illegal. And since companies have to list all their ingredients, imagine the issues this would have if they were ever found out. That said, McDonalds use to soak their potatoes in sugar before deep fat frying them, which is why everyone loved their friesuntil consumers found out about it!! EDIT - My point about the McDonald's fries was NOT that everyone doesn't still love them. - Ok heres how your check the transmission fluid on a car. First drive the car and get it up to normal operating temperature. Then when you get home or where you are, leave the engine running and check the fluid. Now, if the reading is below the cross hatch marks. Then your had a half quart a time. After adding the transmission fluid then get back in the car and put it in reverse then drive and hold it in each gear for a few seconds. Then repeat process until the transmission fluid is full. More than likely its low. My car does that when its low on trans fluid. If the transmission fluid is not low then go to an autoparts store and get a bottle of lucas transmission additive, (The guy at the counter will help your find it) Then just add the whole bottle. Overfilling the trans by 1 quart wont hurt it. You will need to get a long skinny funnel or a transmission funnel from a parts store before you can add anything.
