Virgin Mobile does not allow outside phones in their system, regardless of if other carriers have it available or not. The problem here is that in order to make an outside phone work and get by their rules, you need to do what is known as ESN cloning, where you take the ESN of a Virgin Mobile phone and put it on the phone you want to use. ESN cloning is currently against federal law (primarily DMCA laws) and some state laws as well (notably New York State). It is just easier (and most likely cheaper) to just buy a Boost Mobile phone if you want to use Boost Mobile services.
