- Q: I'm Assistant Directing a production of Hairspray! and need to find a piece of tube that a person can stand inside of for the Giant can of Ultra Clutch Hairspray. We thought to use huge cardboard tubes from Home Depot but the largest size they had was only 1' diameter. Corrugated plastic tubes wont work, it needs to be smooth like PVC or cardboard. A wood tube would be okay too

- Q: I need to clean my gravel and have read a bunch of reveiws on the gravel cleaning syphons and I don't want to waste my money on a cleaner that doesnt work. - The easiest way is to suck on the end of the tube to draw up water and kink the tube or use your finger to cover the end .to keep the water near to the end. Then lower the end to the container and let off your finger. The weight of water in the tube and gravity will do the rest. As long as you have the end of the tube above the level of water in the tank while you are drawing water into the tube, you will NOT get a mouthful as you can see to stop just before the water gets to the end. I am sure you are smart enough to stop before you get a mouthful of water. As long as the end is above the level in the tank the siphon will NOT start and you will have to apply suction to hold the water in the tube until you kink it or use your finger to seal the end. The only way to get a mouthful is if your mouth is lower then the level in the tank so the siphon starts once the water crosses the threshold, Be careful not to suck up the fish...

- Depends where you are, if in central europe, plastic conduit is often used when wiring houses under concrete but it doesn't offer any mechanical protection against a drill bit. If in UK, spec would say that if not a SWA, you will need to run copex, monical each end and connect the earth to it. As soon as the drill bit hits a neutral or live inside the cable after going through the copex, RCD kicks in.
- Q: I'm talking about toothpaste, hand cream, hair products, etc. They changed their packaging so that you can't roll the bottom up anymore. It unrolls and it is almost impossible to get the rest of the product. Today I just cut the bottom off!
- I take a hair brush or comb and run it on the side to push as much as possible to the top then I cut the tube close to the top and scoop out the rest. I do this with my tubes of makeup too. There is really a lot left in there! I dilute my shampoo with water. It spreads easier and lathers better and works just as well if not better.
