Q: My thoroughbred racehorse, is usually awesome, in the summer, spring and fall, but as soon as winter roos around she becomes very spooky, nervous and has started taking off and buckingANY SUGESSTIONS???
i just tried the chicken alfredo and it was pretty goodthey used real chicken and i thought it was gonna taste really nastyi also thought the pasta was gonna taste all drybut no, it was creamy and yummyumm they used the pizza cheese over the top which is a really thin layer than gave it more flavoroverall: alrighti'd eat it again for sure.
Q: I have a copy of my lab results regarding my Lipid Profile:My HDL, the good cholesterol, was only 43 out of a normal range is 30-90 mg/dLWhat dietary changes can I make to INCREASE the HDL? I have included 1 tsp of uncooked olive oil on my dinner each day.Side note:The LDL, the small, bad, sticky cholesterol molecules, were 128 out of a normal range of 75-100 mg/dLToo high i knowI have an effective low cholesterol low sodium diet that I am on now.
43 isn't too badThat's average HDL and does not increase your riskBelow are some ways to raise HDL Aerobic exercise[18] Weight loss Smoking cessation Removing trans fatty acids from the diet One drink of alcohol a day or less yields higher HDL-C levels, more so in women than menHDL transports cholesterol to the liver and cholesterol is known to have a protective effect on the cell membraneIt is likely that this reflects the liver's need for more cholesterol to protect itself from the alcohol.[19] Adding soluble fiber to diet Using supplements such as omega 3 fish oil[20] Limiting intake of saturated fats Also, Fibrate drugs such as Lopid and Tricor and Niacin Over 60 HDL is cardioprotectiveSo, good luck and try the no pharmacological ways firstIn fact, I wouldn't take medication to raise my HDL when it's normalMedications have side effectsLife modifications are usually harmless and will help with more than raising your cholesterol.
Q: I just moved into a house and need to add insulation to my unfinished atticPresently, there is approximately four inches of loose-fill fiberglass insulation, but I would like to increase the R-value to 49I'd rather use cellulose insulation versus fiberglass, because I heard mice and rats use fiberglass as nesting material, whereas cellulose contains chemicals (boric acid, for example) that repels such creatures.
I agree that there's no problem blowing cellulose on top of fiberglasI don't agree that Lowe's and Home Depot have crappy productsGo to the retailer and discuss what you're trying to achieveThey can help you decide how deep you want the insulationTheir machines are just fine except they must be used close to the application point because they're not as powerful as the truck mounted machines the pros useThat can be messy Now, let's address the rodent access issueMice can get in any opening the size of a dime! If your attic has proper ventilation (soffit and ridge or turbine vents, etc., or gable vents on both ends) you should be okYou need airflow through the attic because it eliminates moisture in the winter and heat in the summerSo, look around your home for gaps between facia boards and brick, gaps between trim and roofing, etc., and fill them with steel woolDon't block any intended ventsThis will not only keep mice out, but squirrels and other little critters as well.
Q: i'm using a hair iron ceramic, and i only use shampoo and conditioner does it damage my hair and get me bald ?
STOP STOP STOP! You are slowing causing yourself to go bald ! Your hair can only take so much! But if you cant stop completely go to your neareast hair salon or drug store an look for a heat/iron thermal protectant spray it protects the hair from harmful heat from irons
Q: I bought a fixer upper 3 months ago and have noticed that the dry wall has started cracking throughout the house in places I hadn't noticed beforeThe cracks are anywhere from hair line to a centimeter and are mostly forming where dry wall was painted to wood (ie baseboards)The floors also seem to have settled a little bitThe house was built in 1915It was by no means perfect when I bought it - but I am starting to get concernedThe cracks started appearing after I got insulation put in the attic and under the foundationCould this be a result of the warm air not being about to go through the ceiling and floors anymore? Should I be concerned and start making structural repairs? I believe the repairs to the foundation would cost more than the house would be able to bring back to the market - are their any less expensive alternatives? I know someone prior to myself has put some make-shift posts in the crawl space for extra protection would additional help or is this an insulation thing?
If you don't have a muffin tin no worries you can use the top of a jam jar and just put each cupcake liner in one of the jam jar lids it works just as we'll
Q: does it matter what size crochet hook you use for any size yarn?
I think that the polystyrene is a better insulator than cardboard coz it is more denser than it .
Q: I'm looking for a diet that goes along with my other questionIt was mentioned that i needed a low calorie dietaround 1,200 caloriesanyone know simple foods that consist of low calories and high in fiber? big thanks!
stay up on a unicycle for 20 minutes
Q: What is the best time to eat a high fiber meal such as oatmeal or other whole grain products? It helps reduce cholesterol by combing with cholesterol and fat, and then eliminates it from your body, but if that's all you have in the morning, what good does it do on an empty stomach? Or, would it be best later in the day as your last meal, where it will, in a way clean up what might be left sitting in your intestines?
Be sure the rubber hub is installed properly and not compromised.
Q: If so, congratulations, keep up the good workIf not, what's the plan for next week? I lost three pounds this week and am 6 and a half pounds from my target weight, which I achieved in 2005Its been a bit of a struggle at this pointIt seems to get harder, the closer it getsMy incentive is, ?4.50 per week which I have to pay my slimming clubTarget members dont payMy danger period is evenings, in which I tend to snack and nibbleWhat is your danger period and how do you overcome the urge to eat?
You enter a different world,a real world by searching the truth. When you do so,it begins a process in you which reveals your previous lives, which are inside you,and it takes about 20-30 years to do so.For me it took 18 years to get the contact with the life I lived before this present life, and a few more years for the rest. The lives are like holograms, they are like pearls in a thread, the life you lived before this life is highest up and others downwards,in the order you have lived them. Some lives are more visible, others you have to scan so that you can see them. You have been sometimes a man and sometimes a woman in your previous lives. But you can?t kill people and you can?t accept killing people, otherwise your past lives remain hidden from you.And you should avoid to kill animals, but you need not be a vegetarian.Truth searching, however, ends not here,it continues in coming lives and there is much to come, everything. Then I would suggest that you study astronomy, and it so that you move yourself to the space, and stay there, because the purpose is to go to the whole world, not remain on the earth?s surface. You get the right 3D vision when you leave this rotating earth and go to other stars and galaxies and it helps if you think UFO?s.And I think the distances in the space are understandable, you only begin a little closer, the moon, then the sun, then other planets, then stars, galaxies, galaxy clusters, the whole universe.Of course there is much more, the dark matter, black holes etcWhen you have the contact with your previous lives and are a little more familiar with things, you can begin to see and observe people, life, universe in a spiritual way, your journey continues, but I don?t know where,I am only one traveler myself.I hope this helps you a little to see possibilities which we all have.Good luck!
Q: I just finished my first pray shawlIt is made out of good quality yarn, but it is not as soft as I want it to beHow do I soften it?
What kind of yarn is it? (fiber content) Acrylic yarns tend to lose softness if you dry them on high heatUnfortunately, I don't think you can get it back once that's happened:( Animal and plant fiber yarns (many of which can't be machine washed so check your yarn label) tend to really soften up and sometimes bloom (get thicker) when you soak them in warm water with a little speciality detergentYou can use a wool wash like Eucalan, or you can use Ivory dishwashing detergentJust make sure not to scrub; a little swishing around is enoughThen lay the shawl out to dry on top of a towel in a well-ventilated areaIf it's a lace shawl, you'll probably need to pin it out to shape so that it dries prettyGood luck!
