Q: I'm looking for some UV reflective material that i can sew onto phat pants. And i cant seem to find any place that will sell them. Help plz
If it is a straight with no friction, then it is true that the pump will pump at 21.1 m head that is 30.003 571 353 pound/square inch pressure. [21.1 meter of head 2.109 459 825 9 kilogram-force/square centimeter ] But in practical, you have to consider head loss due to friction through the piping network. Head loss due to friction friction factor x length of pipe x velocity^2 ] / [2 x g x diameter of the pipe] Here, you have to consider the equivalent length of pipe , that is considering all pipe fittings [ elbow, tee, valves, reducers, etc ] Some of the formula you may find useful : 1.Pressure rho* g * head Pressure 1000 * 9.81 * 21.1 [ kg/m^3 * m/sec^2 * m] Pressure 206991 kg sec^(-2) m^(-1) Pressure 206991 pascal Pressure 206 991 newton/square meter Pressure 2.110 720 786 4 kilogram-force/square centimeter 2.Flow Area * Velocity
Q: I just moved to a new house (less than 2 years old). The contractor who lived in it put in a central smoke alarm system. Each room has its own smoke alarm and when one goes off, they all go off. Problem is, one always chirps (in the upstairs bedroom). It started to be once a month. We would hit the reset button, ALL of them would squeal for 30 seconds, and all would be fine. Then the same one would start chirping every week. NOW it's every 3 days!Does this matter? We live in a two story home. We live on the first floor and don't purposefully heat the upstairs. (Extra bedrooms that we don't need at this time.) The smoke alarm that goes off is in the upstairs bedroom (unused). At first I thought it was carbon monoxide and I put a detector in there but it still reads zero. It seems like they are plugged in and not battery operated. Well, we can't figure how to get the covers off of them. Who should I call? An electrician? I don't know the brand of alarm system.
You can find out if it has a bayonet fitting by asking Comet and they are obliged to answer truthfully. If both have a bayonet hose then you should just need to unplug the old one and plug in the new one without a gas man. If the new one has no hose which is unlikely then the gas man could easily put the old one onto the new cooker if it is in good condition.
Q: PVC can the pipe joint be butted with the joint? How do I get it?
One is welding, the other is adhesive bonding, and the other is double headed thread connection
Q: I straighten it nearly everyday, and dye it. And it's starting to feel like straw, I use moisture conditioner and shampoo, by Aussie, but it isn't doing anything. What do you use to keep your hair hydrated? Something other than, don't dye it, or don't straighten it.thanks [:x
Are you sure the alarms actually went off?
Q: I like vaping in my house. But if I vape in a room with a smoke detector will I set it off? I usually vape in my living room which doesn't have a smoke detector. I also have an office in my house with a smoke detector, if I vape in there will I set it off?
I can't speak to the girl tech as I deal in guy tech. :) Your mouse problem may be simpler than you think to solve. Turn the mouse upside down and undo the plate that holds the ball in. Clean out any accumulated dust and dirt that's in there and I think you'll find an amazing difference. I clean out my trackball mouse about once every 2 weeks and it has what look like little dust bunny pancakes around the parts that the ball moves. And if that doesn't work, you can pick up a trackball mouse for about $20 at most Office Depot type places. It will take you a few days to get used to but it's an option for you while you're waiting for wireless. Hope that helps and good luck!
Q: I was in the laundromat today and i saw two ladies wearing rubber gloves carrying huge plastic bags. and as i watched i noticed that in the bag were soiled bed sheets covered in vomit, urine, and feces.I cant think that this would be legal. Shouldn't it be a law that they must provide this service themselves? Without spreading the elderlies' waste throughout the population.
The easiest, and least expensive method would be to use white PVC plumbing pipe and fittings. You can use flange pieces to attach to a solid wood base, and assorted connectors to create shapes. Wood dowels can be inserted into the connectors, too. PVC is easy to cut and drill. It's so inexpensive, that you can experiment. The last time I bought PVC pipe, I believe that 10' sections were less than $2. Fittings are about .25 each or less. You would need PVC glue, also.just make sure that the glue is not exposed on the finished project, and totally cured before using. The other alternative is to hang a play fixture from the ceiling, and just lay a rug underneath. Then you wouldn't need a base. edit*** one other tipYou can weight down the base of the stand by filling the pvc pipe with sand before assembly.
Q: Just got a Smoke detector. Will it go off if it smells my cig smell?
1/2, 3/4, 1 inch, etc. are all trade sizes. This is not the true dimensions of the pipe. For example: for a 1/2 inch pvc electrical conduit, you will need to have a 7/8 inch hole. The schedule refers to the wall thickness of the pipe. For PVC electrical conduit, schedule 40 is the standard for most applications. However there is also a schedule 80 (thicker wall), sometimes referred to as extra heavy wall. There is also a schedule 20 (only approved for certain specific uses). Hope this helps clear things up.
Q: I have a hard wired smoke alarm that is beeping 1x every 30 seconds. I removed the cover and looked for a battery and could not find anywhere for a battery to be placed.just the wires that the detector is attached to. I have lived in this house for 7 years and this is the 1st time it has chirped. I tried to test/hush it by pressing the test/hush button on the cover.and it is still beeping. I also reset power to the house and no luck. Am I missing something here? Any suggestions?
if there was a fire, he won't be expelled. however if he did it as a prank, there's a good chance he'll be suspended depending on how strict your school is.
Q: The pipe joint model is 1/2 "-14 teeth / inch". What does this mean?
The pipe joint model is 1/2, -14 teeth / inch: This is the English 55 degree taper pipe thread, the specific parameters are: big diameter 20.955mm, pitch 1.814mm, other parameters can be listed under the table:
Q: Hi!Before I begin, please don't answer if you are going to lecture me about spurs. I do respect your opinions, but that is not what I need right now. Alright, I was wondering what your favorite spurs are. Right now, I have regular metal ones, they look like this:
that's overkill, and not needed. unless this is a setup to a linked response to an ad your shilling for.. no one is that naive
