- One possible solution, but it depends on the shape of the part I just had the problem of how to cut holes in single layer carbon fibre sheet. This is 0.2mm thick and splits along the line of the fibres very easily. My solution was to stick it to a sheet of aluminium using melted wax. - Just change the end fittings where they attach with a 3/4 to 1 adapter. - Try looking at KTM. They make great off road , enduro bikes I think. Look at the Enduro 690. Its about 130 lbs lighter than the Kawasaki KLR 650 with more power. They aren't common bikes but they make good quality I think.
