Q: I seem to sweat alot even when its freezing cold in my roomi tried using different blankets but it is all the same
Night sweats can be a sign of a serious illnessGo to your doctor and ask his adviceAlso, some people sweat a lot at nightDo you wear pajamas to bed? Maybe you need looser fitting ones made of a natural fiber.
Q: i have planted a few cotton plants this year, but i do not know what to do with the cottoni can clean itthat is about ithow do i spin it? i know when and how to plant iti know when to harvestbut how in this flipping world do you spin iti need details pleaseand how do you prepare it for making thread and yarn?
You should use parchment paper or waxed paperAluminum tears too easily and is definitely less pleasant to get an accidental bite ofYou should grease the pan before you line it, and then grease the paper againThat should take care of it.
Q: A) there is less heating in the transmission wiresB) the resistance of the wires is less at high voltagesC) more current is transmitted at high voltagesD) the insulation is more effective at high voltagesE) the iR drop along the wires is greater at high voltageHow does the voltage of the line affect the final power output? Thanks.
Why is it better to send 10,000 kW of electric power long distances at 10,000 V rather than at 220 V? There are 2 equations for Power Eq1…Power volts amps Eq2.Power amps^2 resistance Using Eq1 If the volts 10,000 v 10,000 kw 10,000 v I I 1 amp, the current is lowIf the volts 220 v 10,000 Kw 220 v I I 45.45 amps, the amps is high The transmission wires have a specific resistanceLet r resistance of transmission wires As the current flows through the transmission wires the resistance causes the wires to get hotThis heat energy is emitted into the insulation on the wire and into the airThis means less electric energy for the customersEq2.Power amps^2 resistance At 10,000 v, only 1 amp is flowing through the transmission wire, so the energy loss due to heat 1^2 r Joules 1 r Joules At 220 v, 45.45 amps is flowing through the transmission wire, so the energy loss due to heat 45.45^2 r 2066 r Joules Also, as the wire gets hotter the resistance increasesSo more heat is producedA) there is less heating in the transmission wires YES B) the resistance of the wires is less at high voltages C) more current is transmitted at high voltages D) the insulation is more effective at high voltages E) the iR drop along the wires is greater at high voltage
Q: we currently have aluminum sidingOur windows are wooden, and some have quite a bit of damage.Which one would save us more money on energy?Which would improve the value of our home more?If you were a buyer, would either be a big selling point for you?
From any energy savings standpoint, the insulation will have the greatest impact on your energy consumptionSIR (Savings to Investment ratio) values are typically in the double digit range wheras windows are typically a break even 1:1 (based on a 10 year paybackInterpretation: insulation 14:1 SIR money saved in unpurchased energy returns the cost of the insulation in less than on year (A 10 would be a year) Windows 1:1 10 years to return your initial expenseBut that is taking each item at its sole valueInsulation in conjunction with the window replacement (particularly a good double or triple paned, argon filled low e type window) will calculate out around 2 or 3:1 depending on the cost of the windowsGood quality intalled vinyl siding, properly installed with an undersheathing and continuous vapor barrier, while not a prime energy saver can help reduce bulk moisture infiltration, prevent air wash to existing insulation and give esthetic value to your home alsoSometimes it is a better idea to get all the options up frontThis is where a home energy anaylisis can be worth its weightbalanced breakdown of cost effective measures, and in some cases even tie ins to available financial grants and loans for specific energy measures installed by their recomendations.
Q: I rent a homeI noticed there are A LOT of vents from the crawl space and atticIn the front of the home, there are 8 vents on the attic over hangAnd about 6 more around the houseThere are about 8 total coming from the crawl spaceAlso, on both sides of the house were it peaks, there is a triangle shape ventI peeked in the attic, and they are not covered, he just has like a wire fence covering themI am wondering how much heat we are loosing during the winterAnd also, could this be why we have SO much window condensation? I can not figure out why we always have condensation on our windowsI am also worried about mold growing as a result of the condensation. This is a very old house and it seems he may have done a choppy job to make it available to rent out.Thank you in advance for any help you may have.
The insulation should be on top of the ceiling and the attic should be well ventilated (as it is.) Depending on where you live there should be 6 to 12 or more of insulation on the ceiling Window condensation on the inside suggests that there is a moisture source indoorsAre you using gas space heaters or a gas stove? If they are not properly vented this can be a significant risk to you and your familyIf you do not have bathroom exhaust vents that can contribute moisture as well.
Q: Does anyone know of a Drin Houston that doesn't use Statin Drugs for high cholesterol and high triglycerides? I am taking TWO statins and want to get off of at least one, if not both of themI would like to find someone with experience in doing this treatment. Thanks!
A typical type 2 diabetic eating plan involves the selection of any foods (or combination of foods) from the following categories: low glycemic index ratings, fresh (preferably raw) fruits and vegetables, eating lean meat and fish for protein as well as vegetable based proteins like tofu, and nutsCarbohydrates from high multigrain breads, legumes, pulses, etc (lentils and the like) Foods to avoid are those with added sugar, alcohol, takeaway foods, fried foods, and pastries, and foods high in processed flours and starches.
Q: so I'm thinking about starting a quot;diet planquot; of my ownI would eat fruits 3 times a daydrink a lot of water and watch what I eat at homeI know I need protein but I don't know what I should eat I mean chicken of course because I love chicken hahah but what kind and from where? if that even makes senseI am overweight and I definitely want to lose about 30-50 poundsand I know I should exercise too lol but help? :)
just eat the freakin gum!!

There is no drink nor is there any food (including Cheerios) that will lower total cholesterolI am sorry but there is no simple solutionIf your provide me with your full lipid profile I will provide you with a more thoughtful responseI wish you the very best of health and in all things may God bless.
Q: ok, my hair looks great straightenedStraightening your hair or blow drying it everyday is bad for your hair so i dont want to do thatIf i use a heat protectant and blow dry/ or striaghten it 3 times a week.Would my hair get fried? please helpMy looks terrible if i just leave it down the way it isIm sick of always having it up.
They are probably using brisket with brisket seasoningThey cook theirs in the oven, but a crock pot will work too.
Q: OK, it is very oddI wouldn't have even thought of it until I was looking up wool onlineI want to knit a cashmere sweater and was trying to find out about that type of wool which comes from goats.seems fairly normal.Ok, the kicker is I found that people save their dog's clippings or brushing and make yarn out of it and knit with it.Does not hurt the animal.I am not talking about using pelts for fur, I am talking about shaving the dog and worsting the fur like someone would sheep or goatI want to make that very clearOne site said to save the hair in the brush and keep it in a pillow case. All I could think about was fleas.and wouldn't that type of wool (lack of another term) itch or stink?Don't they treat the fleece that comes from sheep and goats? Why would anyone think a dog is the same.I some how seems a little gross to make socks out of my dogs shavingsDo people really do that? I guess some do, because when I was looking for wool I found it by accident.I like natural fiber, but don't think I want that.
Minky fabric is really popular because its warm and soft and it comes in every colorCheck the measurements of regular baby blankets and adjust as you feel necessaryI found that I wanted rectangular blankets because it covered her as she got longerHer little feet hang out of the square ones.
