- Q: i have a battery bank cupboard and i wanted to put the inverter in there but the batterys give off gases and the inverter is electrics is it safe to pu them in there
- Even if the batteries are sealed lead-acid, it will have to be forced-air ventilated or your inverter will cook to death.
- Q: can anyone help me understand what 2200 mah means in power banks for iphone means? i like to know if how long would it take to fully charge an iphone with this power please as well as a digital camera thank you!
- 2200mA is the capacity of the battery in power bank . It can charge your Iphone one time , but it can't charge your digital camera
- Q: A power plant it located on the bank of a river that is .5 miles wide. Wiring is to be laid across the river and then along the shore to a substation 8 miles downstream. It costs $12,000 per mile for underwater wiring adn $8,000 per mile for wiring on land. If $72,000 is to be spent on the project, how far from the substation should the wiring come to shore?
- This one is challenging because of the tricky wording. You have to do most of the problem before you can truly understand the last sentence. First, let's compute the least amount of money we can spend 1) Go straight across the river -- 0.5 miles * $12k / mile $6,000. 2) Go directly down the shore -- 8 miles * $8k / mile $64,000. 3) Add them together for a minimum cost of $70,000 ($6+$64). Now, you have $72k to spend, but you only need $70k to go straight over and down. The words how far from the substation should the wiring come to shore? must mean the company would like to run the wiring UNDERWATER for part of the 8 miles. So, how much can you run wiring underwater for the extra $2k we have to spend? If it costs $12k per mile $2k * 1mile/12k 1/6 mile extra So, $2k will get you an extra 1/6 mile downstream underwater. Or, stated another way, the wiring should come to shore 7 and 5/6 miles from the substation. 8 - 1/6 7 5/6.

- Andrew Jackson vetoed the renewal of the charter for the Second Bank of the U.S. Here is an exerpt from his veto message regarding this: It is to be regretted that the rich and powerful too often bend the acts of government to their selfish purposes. Distinctions in society will always exist under every just government. Equality of talents, of education, or of wealth can not be produced by human institutions. In the full enjoyment of the gifts of Heaven and the fruits of superior industry, economy, and virtue, every man is equally entitled to protection by law; but when the laws undertake to add to these natural and just advantages artificial distinctions, to grant titles, gratuities, and exclusive privileges, to make the rich richer and the potent more powerful, the humble members of society the farmers, mechanics, and laborers who have neither the time nor the means of securing like favors to themselves, have a right to complain of the injustice of their Government. There are no necessary evils in government. Its evils exist only in its abuses. If it would confine itself to equal protection, and, as Heaven does its rains, shower its favors alike on the high and the low, the rich and the poor, it would be an unqualified blessing. In the act before me there seems to be a wide and unnecessary departure from these just principles. -- To answer the question, D. As for the trail of tears, it was, indeed, ****** up. But that is irrelevant. You can't make the argument that Central banks are constitutional because Andrew Jackson put small pox on Native American's blankets. Look at Article 1, Sections 8 and 10, and you will see that Jackson was/is correct.
- Q: Can the bank go after a borrowers personal assets if the loan is greater than the home value?
- California has 2 types of foreclosure so it depends on what is spelled out in your mortgage. If you mortgage allows for Judicial foreclosure, when the bank has to actually go to court and get an order from the judge to sell your property, then yes the bank is allowed to get an additional judgement to attach a lein to your personal assets. If your mortgage has a Power of Sale clause, then the bank was allowed as a condition of your mortgage to sell the property by following a few simple steps and doesn't need to go before a judge. In this case they forfit the right to then get any additional money owed to them if the sale of the property comes up short. This is called a non-judical foreclosure.
- Q: If I want 2 use my bank card 4 credit rather than debit do I still need 2 have the amount in my checking account? I've never done it b/4 and the powers out at my apt, its sunday and I need a hotel room.ty
- Just choose credit instead of debit when you slide your card. Call the banks number to be sure. It should be on the back of the card.
- Q: I have a durable power of attorney for my uncles financial affairs. I need to open a bank account for him with the document. What would I need to bring to the bank to exercise this authority and in order to deposit his check?
- Go to the bank and ask them what will be required. Then go get whatever you need. If it is his Social Security check, you may need to visit a Social Security office and ask them to do direct deposit. It will also depend on whether he is of sound mind and how he has been managing up to now [affidavit from his doctor or the nursing home?]. I doubt he would have to be present, but if so, you may need to travel to his state and open the account in a bank near where he lives. The bank will tell you what to do.
- Q: I see in Article 1 Section 8 that they have the power to coin money and establish value thereof. I would assume that would include bills of credit as well until I read Article 1 Section 10. It denies the states the power to coin money and it also denies them the power to emit bills of credit. So it has made it very clear that coin money and emit bills of credit are different powers of government. But wait, where does it say that bills of credit can NOT be emitted by the Federal Government? O shoot the 10th amendment forbids the Federal Government from taking any action that is not authorized by the Constitution and its Amendments. Now I understand that the Supreme Court does not interpret it like this. They did at first with Hepburn v. Griswold but that was overturned by Knox v. LeeWhat do you think?
- Interesting. I have never had that one questioned. I will have to look into it deeper, as it seems that you are 100% accurate. And the Supreme Court has been misinterpreting the Constitution for quite some timeThe States need to reclaim their rights by nullifying ALL federal usurpations of powerand the Supreme Court has no Constitutional power to stop them. For those about to mention the Supremacy Clause.the federal government is superior to the states ONLY in those limited powers granted to the federal government, not across the board.
- Q: I have a 24V 165W BP Solar Panel. I plan on using eight 12V 35 amp hour sealed golf cart batteries in parallel for my battery bank. I plan on purchasing a charge controller and an inverter for my system, but I am not sure which charge controller and inverter to purchase. Will any 12V charge controller work? Do charge controllers take higher voltages, 24V in this case, and step it down for the battery bank? My primary concern is whether 24V is too much voltage to go into a 12V battery bank. If you guys have any suggestions for affordable efficient charge controllers and inverters, please let me know. This system will be used to power a computer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Most any charge controller will work as long as the input voltage is rated to handle the open circuit voltage of your panel, which may be in the 40V range. The solar panel's voltage will drop to match the load during charging; it just won't be as efficient as it could be unless you get a controller with maximum power point tracking (MPPT). MPPT will get the most power from the panel and convert it to the proper charging voltage for your battery bank.
