Introduction
Aluminum foil is aluminum prepared in thin metal leaves with a thickness less than 0.2 millimetres (8 mils); thinner gauges down to 6 micrometres (0.24 mil) are also commonly used. In the United States, foils are commonly gauged in thousandths of an inch or mils. Standard household foil is typically 0.016 mm (0.63 mil) thick, and heavy duty household foil is typically 0.024 mm (0.94 mil). The foil is pliable, and can be readily bent or wrapped around objects. Thin foils are fragile and are sometimes lamilated to other materials such as plastics or paper to make them more useful. Aluminum foil supplanted tin foil in the mid 20th century.
Annual production of aluminum foil was approximately 216,000 tonnes (216,000 tons) in LingFeng (our company) one year..Approximately 75% of aluminium foil is used for packaging of foods. household foil, container foil, cosmetics and pharmaceutcal foil etc, and 25% used for industrial applications (e.g. thermal insulation, cables and electronics).

- Q: My significant other and I are vegetarianHe doesn't like cold foods, like pasta salad and sandwichesIf he goes to Subway, he has to have his sandwich toastedI think straight fruits and veggies are okay, but I want to have something more substantialI know they have grills at the beach, but I have no idea what to pack in order to use themI'm also not the best cook and I've never grilled before.HELP What can I pack so that we have a great (and not hungry) day at the beach?
- bring along a large bag of charcoal, charcoal lighter fluid, a cigarette lighter, aluminum foilyou need to get rid of what is in the grill left over charcoal, wood etcdon't worry about cleaning the grill rack where u cook ur food the fire will take care of that, it would help if u had a steel wire brusheither way i'd lay tin foil on the rack You can also prepare some things ahead get some gallon zip lock bagsCube up some potatoes add butter, onions, salt pepper wrap it in tinfoil indivduallySo good on the grillAlso whatever other veggie u make like, i luv squash the same wayDo you two eat veggie burgers (i've never tried them, i heard not too bad) anyway once you've prepped seasoned ur veggie's put in tin foil (remember they're going on the grill just as you wrapped them) place them in the gallon zip lock bags, makes it easier transportinglol also u can use them for tomato, lettuce, onion, ketchup, squeeze mayo, mustardi do that so it doesn't leak everywhere like in the coolerThose grills are too big so don't put the whole bag of charcoal in itPile it up on one side about 6 inch or so if it has a lid if not even it out, squeeze some fluid on it light her up put the rack on, if it has a lid leave it openWhen the charcoal turns gray she's ready to cookAND WHATEVER YOU DO NOT!! PUT LIGHTER FLUID BACK ON ANY WOOD/CHARCOAL WHEN THERE IS FOOD ON THE GRILL! have fun i hope this helped
- Q: Looking for suggestions on what I can do to make my two grown cats and my new kitten avoid going under a reclinerI'm thinking of putting cayenne pepper in a plastic jar and poking holes in the top so they can smell it but it won't get on themHopefully that will keep them away but not sure if it'll workI'd get rid of the chair all together if I could but the thing is me and my girlfriend are buying a house with her newly divorced dad.and it's his chairHe'd never hurt a animal on purpose but accidents can happen so I'm just trying to play it safeAny suggestions are appreciated.

- Corporations use the threat of technology and robotics to suppress worker demands whether those workers are unionized or notMediocre soup and sandwich purveyor Panera Bread announced recently it is replacing its human cashiers by 2016The company will install automated ordering and payment kiosks so you don't have to talk to a human while ordering your food or while picking it upPanera spent $42 million developing its new system and claims it isn't planning any job cuts as a result of the technologyNo job cuts? Then what are the people who used to be cashiers going to be doing? Is the company going to invent new jobs for them? Why not just admit: We are replacing workers with robots, and we are firing peopleThis is the future, unions or no unions.
- Q: Generally speaking how much would the cheapest machine cost that could bend something like a 3quot; or 4quot; pipe/tubeI have seen units as low as $250 that can bend up 2.5quot; pipe manuallyI have also seen units that can bend 12quot; pipe and they can cost like 10 grandI need to bend 3quot; - 4quot; steel and/or aluminum tubes. They will be pretty much as thin walled as i can find themI will be using these tube for air intakes for cars, i just need an idea of what it mightAlso i noticed that there are a variety of different types of benders, so any advice on which type would be best, would be extremely helpful, Thanks.
- If you are bending thin walled tubing you will need a Mandrel Tube Bender for the best performanceThese machines are pricey but you also get what you pay forIf you go cheap on a bender then you will get cheap parts for your auto'sThis is a good site for a great Mandrel Bender.

- Q: Can someone help me, im revising for my science GCSE and im kinda stuck on this question.Question;Using the headings below explain in detail how you could use a variegated leaf to show that chlorophyll is needed for photosynthesis.Carrying out the experimentAnalysing the resultsThank you. Please do not use big fancy science language, im only 15 :)
- You could prove that only green parts of the variegated leaf will be able to produce starch, while the white parts don'tFirst, take a plant with variegated leavesCover a couple of leaves with aluminum foil, in which you have cut out some small holes to expose some white and green areasLeave the plant in the sun for 48 hoursWater if necessaryThen, cut out sections of the leaves that are green and covered, green and exposed, white and covered, white and exposed (4 different sets of small pieces) Boil the leaf pieces in alcohol and stain with iodine, to show which parts have formed starchNote that boiling leaves in ethanol should not be done on open fire, but rather by using electrical heaters, and boiling the leaf pieces in a tube with ethanol that is placed in a tube or beaker of boiling waterThis part of the experiment should not be done without supervision by an experienced adult (such as a biology teacher)So I hope you only need to describe the experiment, not do it yourselfPlease do not do this experiment at homeBelow are some more detailed instructionsBasicly, the iodine will color the leaf pieces in which starch was developed (the sun-exposed green parts).
- Q: I'm flying to Japan and want to know if i'm allowed to bring it with meHelp please!
- I would suggest asking those that said you could have done better what they would have liked insteadIt serves two purposesOne is you learn what your particular group likes, another is it gives an opportunity to say something like We're raising money for _, we don't want to spend it all For myself, I'll take whatever low cost meal is served, or none at allI'm aware of what goes into feeding a lot of people, and the expense, which is usually out of one or only a few person's pocketThe same can not be said of allOne alternative would be to have a ride where it's advertised that all donations go to the charity, and then charge a buck and a half for a burger or dog, chips, and a soda.
- Q: And does putting it in an aluminum foil container make it last longer? If so, should the aluminum container be thick, thin, big, small, or anything else?
- newspaper is an excellent insulator so you could try that.
