HDPE pipe Performance and Features:
1. Environmental Material.
HDPE is a kind of no-toxic, tasteless and unharmful chemical material, and HDPE PIPE, inherits those typical features nicely.
2. Good Flexibility.
When it is used in dredging pipe, the rubber flexible connectors can be saved because of its good flexibility.
3. Low Hydraulic Resistance.
The smooth inner wall make the water transportation capacity improve more than 30% under the same condition.
4. No Leakage.
The technics of hot-fusion and electric-fusion make sure the the strength of welding point is stronger than the body pipe itself.
5. High abrasion performance.
Its wear resistance is 4 times as the steel pipe.
6. Anti-corrosion and crack growth resistance.
7. Long lifetime durable in use.
50 years at least.
8. Economy
Low delivery, installation and maintenance cost.
HDPE water supply pipe application
1. Water pipe network system for civil engineering.
2. Urban and rural drinking water pipeline.
3. Agricultural irrigation pipe.
4. Other industries related to liquid transportation, especially for corrosive liquid.
- Q: I use a length of plastic tubing and after using it for a while (few months) it changed from clear to opaque. It had been exposed to heat, alcohol and water, nothing else. If you know why it changed colors please fill me in. Also, I would like to know if it is changed chemically that might effect things traveling through it or if it is merely a cosmetic change and I can ignore it for the most part.
- If the plastic tubing was exposed to heat, then the resultant color change was most like due to a disruption in the chemical lattice of the plastic. A plastic is basically a polymer or group of polymers (polymer=same chemical compound repeated over and over again). When heat or another energy source is apllied, it has the ability to alter the polymer structure. Think of a polymer in similar terms as a crystal; all of the compounds in the plastic will align themselves in a similar way as the previous compound. When you do this with minerals, you end up with a clear or partially clear crystal. The same basic principal applies to polymers (plastics). Hope this helps!! P.S. some chemicals have the same ability to alter the plastic, same as an enrgy source..
- Q: I cant find them online and i need some.
- Flavor Ice.
- Q: EXACTLY WHERE AT THE MOUTH OF A PLASTIC TUBE DOES THE PRESSURE NODE FORM? (Dealing with standing waves in air)?
- Level with the open end. Pressure nodes form where there are displacement antinodes and displacement nodes form where there are pressure antinodes If you look at the diagram, this will be clear.
- Q: Are plastic tubes suitable for plumbing applications?
- Yes, plastic tubes are suitable for plumbing applications. They are commonly used in residential and commercial plumbing systems due to their durability, corrosion resistance, and ease of installation. Plastic tubes such as PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and PEX (cross-linked polyethylene) are widely accepted and meet industry standards for plumbing installations.
- Q: I'm doing a little DIY project, and I'm in a small dilemma. I plan to drill a hole into a plastic bottle cap (like the ones on 2-liter bottles), and stick some vinyl tubing through it. I need an adhesive to glue the two parts together, but it also has to be strong, waterproof, and airtight. What would you recommend?
- I'd use a silicone sealant, it has lots of strength and flexibility.
- Q: Does anyone know of a way to attach a hollow plastic tube that is 2 inches long with a diameter about 0.5 in to a rectangular piece of wood that is 0.75 in thick? It has to be able to withstand considerable force without budging. Something like duck tape doesn't work, I've tried. Is there a good way to do this? I was thinking of some sort of clamp, but what type? And is there any sort of glue I could get that is very strong?I'd appreciate any help.
- Drill a hole in the wood and glue the tube into it. Does it have to be wood? It might be better to use a block of plastic and drill a hole instead of trying to attach a tube.
- Q: How do you store chemicals in plastic tubes?
- Chemicals can be stored in plastic tubes by following a few safety measures. First, choose plastic tubes made of compatible materials that can withstand the chemical being stored. Ensure the tubes have secure caps or closures to prevent leakage or spills. Label each tube with the contents and any necessary safety information. Store the tubes in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Additionally, consider using secondary containers or trays to contain any potential spills or breakages. Regularly inspect the tubes for signs of degradation or damage and dispose of any compromised tubes properly.
- Q: I need to find a round, plastic jar that is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and 4 3/4 high. Does anyone know where I can find something like this?
- Peanut butter comes in a container about that size....
- Q: I got A LOT of clear plastic tubing, (like EVERY size!) and I wanted to know if I could make a craft or something with it. I would like to make a gumball machine, but I searched forever and I couldn't find anything with plastic tubing. Do you have anything I can make? I can also go to the store and buy something (within reason of price) to make it! (it would be awesome if you could tell me by 3PM central today, because that's when my 10-year-old cousin is coming over and she loves crafts!) Thanks!
- chainmail can be made from plastic tubing... and then painted.
- Q: What is the maximum temperature plastic tubes can withstand?
- The maximum temperature that plastic tubes can withstand varies depending on the specific type of plastic used. However, in general, many plastic tubes can withstand temperatures up to approximately 150-200 degrees Celsius.
