Introduction

Aluminum foil is aluminum prepared in thin metal leaves with a thickness less than 0.2 millimetres (8 mils); thinner gauges down to 6 micrometres (0.24 mil) are also commonly used. In the United States, foils are commonly gauged in thousandths of an inch or mils. Standard household foil is typically 0.016 mm (0.63 mil) thick, and heavy duty household foil is typically 0.024 mm (0.94 mil). The foil is pliable, and can be readily bent or wrapped around objects. Thin foils are fragile and are sometimes lamilated to other materials such as plastics or paper to make them more useful. Aluminum foil supplanted tin foil in the mid 20th century.

Annual production of aluminum foil was approximately 216,000 tonnes (216,000 tons) in LingFeng (our company) one year..Approximately 75% of aluminium foil is used for packaging of foods. household foil, container foil, cosmetics and pharmaceutcal foil etc, and 25% used for industrial applications (e.g. thermal insulation, cables and electronics).

Application of Aluminum Foil:Mainly used in package for food, drinking, cigarette, Pharmaceutical, photograph, daily necessities, power capacitor, construction, auto, boat, celling, lable, etc .

Quality of Aluminum Foil: Totally free from defects like white rust, oil patches, roll marks, edge damage, camber, dents, holes, break lines, scratches and free from coil set.

Chinese Standard of Aluminum Foil: ASTM-B209. EN573-1, GB/T3880.1-2006

Packing for Aluminum Foil: Seaworthy wooden case/box, or as your requirement. ID of aluminum foil roll: 76mm,152mm,200mm,300mm

Q: I have the entire engine apart and ready for rebuild, but i dont know if im supposed to use sealant on the caseI remember there was when i split the case but what kind and how much would i use?
on a honda engine, the best sealer i have ever used is a product called honda bond it is sold by honda dealers and does a very good job if you follow the directions on the packageif you do not have access to this product, then use an anerobic sealer made by such companies as permatez corpit also does a very good job on aluminum cases
Q: Anyone have a good recipe for a whole baked chicken?I've tryed some recipes I found online, and I've tryed my own, and all of them are just sortameh.Something simple would be great. Also any tips on keeping the breast meat moist would be awesome. The dark meat is always so juicy and full of flavor, but I always seem to have trouble keeping the white meat from drying out and retaining flavor.I could be overcooking it b/c I'm a bit paranoid about undercooked chicken, but I know last time, I did not but the breast meat was still pretty dry and flavorless.
well i don't know where you live but 2x4's for rafters is pretty small/undersizedand when you put them 24 on center is a very weak roof2x6's 16 on center is like minimum, 2x8's at least for 24 on centeri hope you just typo'ed or live where it never snows! also you don't insulate the rafters, you put the insulation in between the ceiling joists, roofs need air circulation under them.
Q: what does that mean i left a lip on all the edges of the pan as you can tell im jus learning to cook! thanks for the help.
From everything I have seen over the years, manufactured homes appear to be better built than ones built on siteThe fact is that they are built in a controlled environment by a crew of people working under ideal conditionsThere is no exposure to elements while under construction, and the quality control is definitely betterI wouldn't worry about purchasing such a homeThe fact that the inspector found only minor problems should be encouraging as well.
Q: This question asks for a step-by-step guide on how to shape a flat piece of aluminum foil into a cone.

To fold a flat piece of aluminum foil into a cone shape, follow these steps: 1. Cut a circular piece of foil with a diameter equal to the base of the cone you want. 2. Fold the circle in half to form a semicircle. 3. Draw a straight line from the center of the straight edge to the point of the semicircle. 4. Cut along this line to create a sector of the circle. 5. Open the sector and fold the straight edge to form the cone's slant height. 6. Fold the two ends of the sector together to create the cone's base, and secure with tape if needed. Adjust the cone's shape as desired.

Q: I have a great simple recipe for BBQ chicken breastsIt says to cover the pan tightly with foil and cook 30 to 35 minutesNext it says to uncover and continue cooking an additional 30 minutesShould I use my metal pan or a glass pan? My metal pan is actually a baking sheet. Thanks!
Very complex Q engineering is a compromise of of available material, shape, cost and load type look at pictures of all kinds of bridges We can cross a stream on a fallen log, why not use one to cross the english channel? THINK PS: triangles are stronger than squares, why? think lengths of the sides when they are deformed
Q: thanks alot
Because no matter how hard the helmet is it can not prevent brain damage from your brain slapping the inside of your skullIf the helmet was able to absorb the energy from an impact and prevent you brain from moving inside your skull it would have to be huge and everyone would look like bubble heads riding on bikesThe sides would have to be around 12 inches thick on each side and top to provide that much protection and would probably break your neck if you were in a wreckHope I have been helpful.
Q: I'm redoing my kitchen from the floor upI will have a 3/4 sub floor, then hot water tubes running through aluminum channelsThis leaves a surface that is very flat, with just small unevenness at each tubeIs it enough to lay 1/4 plywood over that, then the vinyl flooring? Or does there need to be a thicker plywood layer at that point?
45 min 425F? Holy crpNo, you're not doing it rightA WHOLE tenderloin will take about 45min, but a sliced tenderloin will only take about 30 min 350F You're way overcooking it.
Q: I have a project I'm working on that needs a frame to be welded, but I'm not sure how much it'll cost/how to go about hiring somebody to do that? I have at this stage a set of drawings, measurements, etcfor somebody to go off of, but I'm not sure how much it's going to cost to get somebody to bring that to fruition for meDo welders normally charge by the hour, or can I just pay once for the entire piece to be finished and I can just pick it up whenever? I also don't know what to expect as far as rates themselves and negotiating a priceThe whole thing is to be made of aluminum square pipe, has a roughly boxy shape that's got maybe 20 joints or so, total, and is about seventy inches long for referenceI'm not sure how much of that information is relevant because I have no experience in this sort of thing, but I maybe it'll help get a better idea maybe it won'tThanks
With a complex piece like that there is no normallyIt's aluminium welding so that's something most professional welders cannot doIt has a lot of joints, some of which may be awkward to accessUnless all of the parts have been accurately designed and cut then it's inevitable that some pieces may need trimming if too long or even re-making if they're too short or cut at the wrong angleThe wall thickness makes a difference to how long the welding will take and the materials (gas and wire) costsCosts also depend upon whether every seam needs a continuous weld or just spot/plug weldsLast, but not least, in a by no means exhaustive list, is where on this planet you're located as labour rates vary as do the currencies you'd need a quote inIf the plan is from CAD software and then input into CNC machinery to accurately cut all parts then you may be able to get a price for the whole jobIf not then there may be additional unplanned work in which case the job will be charged by the hour, typically in half hourly incrementsAgain, I can't give you any typical labour rates as I've no idea where you areTo summarise, you'll only find out by taking your project to a few specialist engineering/metal fabricators able to weld aluminium and then obtaining quotationsIf they know you're shopping around then they're unlikely to muck around with dishonest pricing, but you can also try to push for a better price depending upon your negotiating skills.
Q: I don't want the ones from google!I would like to hear your own home made recipe! :)
I am a 25 year union Ironworker Shake out hooks are hooks with a long straight tapered pin shaped end which you can stick in a bolt hole on beams and other structure to spread out from piles in order to inventory and mark or position for sending up on the crane hook for installationShake outs have no safety latch and are only for moving things around at ground levelThey are used in pairs with one hook on one end of a beam and one on the other.
Q: which one, aluminum foil or tin does well in heat insultaion and with a lower cost?
There is no distinct difference between them in heat insultation. Aluminum foil is cheaper than tinfoil.
