FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

 4.  What's the characteristics about porcelain tiles and glazed tiles? Which one more slippery, more aesthetically pleasing and easy to clean?

Glazed tiles are colorful, the effect is rather diverse, stain-slip, abrasion resistance but worse than the porcelain tiles. Long-term use may wear a large surface; porcelain tiles have the higher degree, long hard wear surface. Good performance and stable cleanup (before playing the best times to use the wax to improve stain resistance). The porcelain tiles are weaker performance in non-slip than glazed tiles. We should take attention on its anti-slip properties, face down in a tiled brick water testing.

Q: The tile I have has some asbestos in it .How do I dispose of it. Also somebody also said that the glue has some of it in it,True or False
Ok here goes. I just did that same job and disposed of it a little at a time in the trash by breaking it up. I removed it with a hair dryer of all things. You heat the tiles up with it and scrape under them. Most of the tar or adhesive will come with it. Plan on it taking a good deal of time too. I then just washed it down good let it dry over night and re-did peel and stick tiles with a shiny finish. It looks great. Happy flooring.
Q: I was cleaning a house today, and I accidentally dropped a few drops of bleach on a earth colored ceramic tile. The lady wants me to fix it, but the local carpet cleaners/tile guys want to charge me too much. Is there a way to repaint the tile? Or to strip away the bleach?
The tile should have been sealed, and then re-sealed every year by the people at the carpet store - you are not responsible for her not maintaining her house. I understand that probably doesn't help you - the short answer is - the tile is cheap and painted/stained not all the material dyed to match. You may be able to fix it by using a similarly colored Porcelain stain, or other stain type - just be very careful that you don't get stain on the grout - and once the tile is stained make sure it is sealed.
Q: To remoe the old wall tiles between kitchen cabinet takes a lot of time or may damage the sheetrock behind it, can I install granite or new tiles on top of it. Appreciate for any input
I think you would just have to add a level surface between the two.
Q: I have some extra granite tiles, and want to get them trimmed to the dimensions I want. I lack a wet saw, and don‘t want to buy one, so is there somewhere I can go to get it done?
I'm pretty sure that a hardware store will do that for you like Lowe's or Home Depot. You would just need to pay for a cutting charge per piece.
Q: can I lay porcelain floor tiles butted up with no grout. These will be laid on underfloor heating? They are quite large 600 x 600. Any info will help. Thanks
No you shouldn t.. Dirt, dust and every day stuff will accumulate in the joints and be almost impossible to get out. All tiles are designed to have a space, some smaller and some larger than others. The grout the goes between the tiles is part of the system to make it stable. Sealing the grout is a major help in keeping it clean and stain free, if this is your concern. Porcelain is made to have a sanded grout along with a space of 1/8 to about 1/4 inch. Or 3/6 mm This spacing will also help make up for minor tile sizes that will throw you off if you try to but them tight. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there.. GL
Q: What is the drill bit?
We generally use a small sandblasting bit on the market can buy a good use
Q: I wanted to put ceramic tile over the linoleum (in good shape) in our bathroom (floor is concrete). Can I do this or do I need to remove all the linoleum? Thanks
Remove the linoleum. The adherence of your tile is only as good as the material it is bonded to. Linoleum (or more correctly, vinyl) is a poor base to lay tiles over. Remove the vinyl, scrape the concrete of any vinyl adhesive, and mop the floor with TSP. (Tri-sodium phosphate, found at most hardware stores) This will remove most substances from the concrete and create a better surface for your tile. Let the floor dry overnight before setting the tiles.
Q: Im looking into renovating our kitchen and thought i would cut some costs with doing some renovating ourselves. Is tiling easy to do yourself, how is it done and what surfaces can they be laid on?Thanks
Tiling is pretty easy, but the easiest way to find out about it is to go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy a book for approximately $20.00 that will give you step by step help. Then, if you still have questions, the people that work at the pro desk can usually help you the most. Unfortunately, it is hard to explain when you need to see some of the things. You will need a special tile cutter to cut the tile, and a trowel and a bag of spacers. Then get yourself the tile, the thinset to glue the tile and the grout to go in between it. You can lay it directly on concrete. If you have a wood floor, they recommend a hardy backer board between the wood and the tile. You can get by without the backer board if you're very careful. When done, you will need to apply a sealer to the grout.
Q: 80 cm x 80 cm tiles a piece of weight is probably how many kilograms?
Now the brick is much lighter than before. Now a good brand than the ordinary soil cast factory thick, a good brand of a box of about 3 is about 100 pounds, is about 33 pounds each piece.
Q: I have several boxes of wall tile and I would like to use some on a floor. Is this okay? What is the difference?
No because when wall tile gets wet it gets very slipery. You would be creating an ice scating rink.
