Q: If you have two workers say standing on a scaffolding, their are downward forces from the weight of the workers along with the weight of the scaffold, and upward forces from tension suspending the scaffolding in place. The opposite forces add to zero and thus the scaffolding remains at rest.My question has to do with what would occur if more/less workers were on the scaffolding. It appears to me that the scaffolding would always remain at rest. Would there always be a ΣF=0 regardless of the amount of workers? As the decreases in weight from removing a worker would also cause the tension force to be weaker? And vice versa if there were more workers?I
You are correct so long as the scaffolding is not allowed to move. I.e. the cables suspending it are locked and not unwinding from their spools as more workers get on. More weight added would necessarily increase the tension in this type of case. However, if, when another worker got on and the tension could not increase for what ever reason, a downward acceleration would take place that is proportional to the worker's weight. Hope that clears things up.
Q: So I had a scaffold/industrial done about 10 weeks ago, and its been infected at the top hole only for about 3/4 weeks. It has like a little bubble near the hole and sometimes its filled with pus a little bit and sometimes its not. Well I went the doctors about 2 weeks ago and he prescribed me a weeks worth of antibiotics as well as anti-septic cream. So I took the pills for a week and it was clearing up, I was also applying the cream twice a day. But then yesterday I noticed the lump has gotten a little bit bigger. I don't know what to do, should I take it out? But I really don't want to. And plus the doc said to wait up to 3 weeks and if nothings changed to go back and take it out. If I continue to use the cream, will it eventually go? Thanks :)
dw i had the lump for 6 months nd after a year it has finally healed but u have to be patient nd the other comment is right use tea tree
Q: so yeah as it says above^should i just wait till it no longer hurts, or do you have to wait a certain amount of time...
Industrial piercings take 9-12 months to heal completely and you never want to remove an unhealed piercing unless the jewelry is causing problems and at that point it should be done by a professional in a sterile environment. Taking the jewelry out before it is healed could cause it to close up, become infected or irritated, and can cause hypertrophic scarring (scar tissue) to form on your piercing. I took my industrial out after having it for 3 months. It was out for less than a minute and when I went to put it back in it went through the first hole easily but wouldn't go through the top hole no matter how hard I pushed. It immediately started bleeding and hurtling like crazy. Awesome. Waste of time, pain, and money. So, you might get lucky and just have it get a little irritated or prolong the healing time by changing it early. But you could also end up like me or worse, with any infected piercing. Why risk it?
Q: scaffolding piercing.. do they hurt? and how much are they in england? thanks x?
Yes they hurt but like all piercings if you look after them then it wont hurt for long. If you don't like pain don't get them. I can't tell you what they cost in England as you posted your question in the Australia section.
Q: Topic?Scaffolding construction program how to doSpecial construction scheme
More recently asked scaffolding people, I made a standard answer to see if you have any useful (already adopted)
Q: What are the common rules for calculating the amount of scaffolding works
According to the wall masonry scaffolding (single) vertical projection area calculation with square metre.Scaffolding, without deduction of door and window opening, air ring, vehicle channel, deformation joint area. At the same time, the height of the same building is different, according to the vertical height of the building.
Q: Because my friend wants it done but isn't sure :)
In all honestly, I'd try to talk your friend out of getting that hip piercing. Surface piercings, especially one there, Will reject. I don't mean to sound negative, but have her put two dots where she would want the piercing, and move around as she does daily, she will see how much that area moves. The more movement = the less likely it will heal. They could reject after a month, they could reject after two years. It really depends. No matter how well the piercer, or how well she takes care of it, it will reject. I went to the best piercers in state to get my surface work (sternum, nape) done. I also took care of it by doing sea salt soaks once or twice a day. When that didn't work I used the LITHA (leave it the hell alone) method. The sternum rejected in six months, where the nape was doing great up until that two year mark. Then it started rejecting. If you want to see what a rejecting piercing looks like feel free to send me an Email, I have some pics of my sternum piercing early on - when it started rejecting, then a day or two before I took it out. It honestly looked horrible that few days before I took it out. The piercing place I go to won't do surface piercings on minors, so you have to be 18 for that one in Minnesota. For the scaffold/industrial, you have to be 16 with parental consent and 18 without in the United States.
Q: What is the rental price of the mobile scaffolding and accessories now? How to rent a law?
A set of how much money a day, of course, there are some monthly price calculation
Q: i am getting my industrial (scaffold) pierced on one ear and i want my cartilage on the other ear, how long do i have to wait between them? What are pros and cons for industrial (scaffold)? what are risks and stuff and how much is it? i want to get it so any information or anything i should know would be great thanks especially for industrial:)
You can have both done in the same day if you can handle the pain and shock. Get the industrial done first, and if you still feel OK afterwords, you can get your other ear done by the same piercer. Talk to him/her and let them know what you want to do before you start. If you feel like you need to wait after the industrial, wait at least a day before getting the second piercing. It's all about what you can handle.
