- you can try to put her bed with her in on ur bed. show her how to stay in her own bed while she is still on your be than slowly put her bed on the floor so she can see that will be her bed for now on. like with my dog she sleep with me and on her bed. my dog starts off on her bed and like at around in the morning she will get on my bed. i show my dog that she has her own bed to sleep a month she is now 5 month old and sleep on her bed.

- It would really depend on how good the mattress is on the day bed or the futon. If you're on a budget get the day bed.

- if your golden is a baby get a crate, get a large crate for room to grow. you can get a dog bed after your golden is potty trained, trained to not wreck up your house too. if your dog is already trained go for the dog bed. - I have traveled all over the Caribbean and a King bed, Queen bed or double bed is the same as in the USA. Maybe in Europe you will find a difference in bedding size. good luck and enjoy) ADDITIONAL DETAILS: I misread this question. sorry. I now have some information that will help, I hope. Atlantean size bed (76 inches wide by 84 inches long) is 4 inches wider than a California King Bed. A California king bed is 72 inches wide and 84 inches long. (that is 12 inches wider than a queen and 4 inches longer) I hope this helps.

- Never leave an infant unattended on an adult bed, even with a bedrail. The main reason why its unsafe to bed share with an infant isnt they might fall off the bed, its the bedding and mattress from an adult bed is very different from an infants bedding and mattress, its much plushier and loose. The reason why in some countries its very common to cosleep is in those countries and there arent many incidents is they have very different beds, they are usually much firmer and dont have the loose bedding and are much lower to the ground, so its safe for the babies, but in America, dozens of babies die every year from getting their faces wrapped in bedding or having their airways blocked by the plushy mattress. Because of this, I highly suggest that you keep her crib next to your bed, this way she wont sleep alone and you can have open access to her night, but shes in a safe bed.
