Q:I hear people say that but how? A flat iron straightens your hair.
They are still using copper where I live in Arkansas for propane lines underground (even new services). Even if your code changed, you should not be required to change it unless you do work on the line such as a repair or moving it to another area. Called grandfathering. Code for underground black iron pipe would include welding all joints and having a coating on it.
Q:Who would win and why?I say Iron Fist!
Iron Fist easily defeated Batman. With his chi power, Batman would not withstand against Danny's chi power and not even Batman's gadgets.
Q:What is a great flat iron for around $100?
I have GVP from Sally Beauty Supply. It cost about $60 and has lasted me 5 years with no problems. I've even dropped it a couple times and it's still fine.
Q:Can you straighten up permed hair with an iron? Is it damaging?Jessie xx
Any thermal styling is drying to the hair. Permed hair is already more delicate because of the chemical process it has been through. Compensate by using a thermal protectant when you are using the iron to protect your hair from the drying effects of the hairdryer and flat iron.(almost every company has somethingMatrix: Thermal Setting Spray, Biosilk: Smoothing Solution or Silk Therapy; CHI: Iron Guard; Redken, Fabricate you get the idea there are tons of them) It is also important to use a gentle shampoo and conditioner that are designed for chemically treated hair especially if you also color or hilight.
Q:why does Iron have the properties it has??as much inrformation as possible please10 points thank
Iron is a metal and as such is made up of a sea of metal cations in a sea of free electrons- metallic bonding. Iron is strong because the metallic bond is a strong bond. Iron is malleable because the cations can rearrange and change positions. Iron has a high melting and boiling point because the metallic bond is a strong bond. Iron is lustrous because of the free electrons. Iron conducts heat and electricity because it has free electrons that can move throughout the structure. Iron is dense because its atoms are packed closely together. Iron is ductile because its atoms can be made to slide over each other.
Q:How do breastfed babies (or young animals) get iron if they drink nothing but milk? There is very, very little iron in milk.
Breastmilk contains just enough iron for the baby's needs. If the baby is full term he will get enough iron from breastmilk to last him at least the first 6 months. Formulas contain too much iron, but this quantity may be necessary to ensure the baby absorbs enough to prevent iron deficiency. The iron in formula is poorly absorbed, and most of it, the baby poops out. Generally, there is no need to add other foods to breastmilk before about 6 months of age.
Q:My doctor is telling me vitamin D or Too much milk can block my iron absorption. (I am anemic) - does anyone know much about this and what else blocks iron absorption?
Much to my great surprise vitamin D apparently does indeed block the absorption of iron. You can find further information in a web search for vitamin d + iron absorption. Vitamin C helps the absorption of iron so a lack of vitamin C would block the absorption of iron as you need vitamin C to absorb iron. A good vitamin C intake might perhaps help to minimise the iron losses due to vitamin D. You can find further information in a web search for vitamin c + iron absorption. Vitamin D helps the absorption of calcium but unfortunately it hinders the absorption of iron.
Q:Ar these nice irons for 13 handicapper
I play with these clubs and I love them. I don't have an official hanicap. However, I shoot about 40 for nine holes and around 85 for eighteen holes. But, I am a female, so it could make a difference.
Q:If I soak 5 grams of iron filings in 125 mL of water, does the mass of iron go up or down?
The Iron will turn to iron oxide (rust) thus increasing its mass by taking oxygen from the water.
