Q: Spinach has calcium, iron, and vitamin CCalcium tends to inhibit iron absorptionVitamin C tends to enhance iron absorption. What is the net effect?Same think with kale
No, spinach is not a good source of iron or calcium. It's a high oxalate food. Oxalate's inhibit your body's ability to absorb and use vitamins and minerals. Kale is a low oxalate food. So it should be a better source. Researchers say vegetarians need to eat about twice as much iron as meat eaters.so vegans need to get considerably more than that. See link.
Q: been taking iron supplements individual for a couple years now and read some where that multivitamins that contain iron, zinc, potassium can stain teeth? never heard of such a thing. but mostly liquid iron?thanks
Yes iron can stain not only teeth, but also skin. This is usual when iron is introduced in liquid form. Orally (that's why it is needed to be taken in straw with your juice) to prevent staining and hasten up it's action. Injectables(z-track method is necessary to have a skin lock and prevent iron from pouring out and cause stain). But when you take iron in capsules, you don't neet to worry at all because it's encapsulated.
Q: what is a good flat iron at fair price and a good flat iron shine spray
revlon is good it's about 20 bucks
Q: I want to iron the tongue of my shoe because it has some weird curvature to it. Thus, I want to make it straight. I want to know if that is possible. THANX!!!!
nope and that's normal for a leather shoe anyway so you might think it looks ugly or weird, but it's normal
Q: Im an anemic with prenisious anema (anemia) and have trouble keeping my iron levels up my doctor has subscribed irion suppliments that sometimes act if though they don‘t work fast enough can i get some help on high iron foods to eat,.
Here is basic info on Iron deficency. The most common iron supplement is ferrous sulfate, although other ferrous salts such as ferrous lactate, fumarate, glycine sulfate, glutamate and gluconate are also absorbed well. Ferrous succinate may have a 30 percent higher absorption rate than ferrous sulfate. If you take iron tablets on an empty stomach, you get the best absorption but you also may experience constipation, diarrhea or stomach upset, depending on the dosage. Taking iron supplements with meals reduces iron absorption by up to one-third. Vitamin C aids iron absorption whether the iron comes from food or a pill. Try meal combinations such as orange juice and iron-fortified cereal or salsa and bean burritos. Other good food sources of iron are meat (especially red meat and liver), dried apricots, and iron-fortified bread. Keep supplements out of the reach of children. Eating iron-containing drugs is the most common cause of poisoning deaths in young children. I hope this will help. :)

Q: Hi! I am doing a report on Iron and i have to do an experiment with something to do with iron. I really had know ideas, but my friend said I can use a magnet and ceral and do some sort of experiment. Does anyone have any cool experiments i could do that involve iron? Thanks for reading and any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
Iron can do many things: its a great conductor of heat, electricity and magnetism. Its very stable at room temperature. Its very strong and weighs less than many other metals for its strength. - The most common chemical experiment with iron is to expose it to water. H20 + Fe Rust, respresents a basic chemical change - You can magnetize a bar of iron by exposing it to a strong magnetic field for a period of time. The iron molecules eventually align along the magnetic field lines, causing them to induce a field when the magnetic source is removed, representing a basic physical change in the state of the iron bar - You can wrap a copper coil around the iron bar, attaching either end to a battery which causes the iron bar to instantly turn into an 'electric magnet' - If you wrap a copper coil around a ring and attach either end of the coil to a voltmeter, you can insert a magnetized iron bar in and out of the ring repeated to generate a small electric current. - You can shave the iron bar into iron filings which, when exposed to a magnetic field under a sheet of while paper demonstrate the magnetic field lines associated with the magnet below the paper
Q: pleeeeease help. just a regular iron not some fancy thing
I would guess most irons were 10-12 amps. The most you can get from a regular household socket is 15 amps. If you look at an iron it should say right on it. Either it will tell you the amps or watts, and you just divide the watts by 110 to get the amps.
