Calcium Silicon Powder
1. Description:
Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound; it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245°C and boiling point 1800°C in normal atmospheric pressure.
Solubility in water reacts with moist gas and water.
Silicon Calcium Alloy is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer utilized in the production of high grade steels. Although Silicon itself is a powerful deoxidizer, Calcium is by far more powerful. In addition, Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final product. Calcium Silicon can be obtained in lump or powder form. The most widely used method for intergraded steel applications is in the form of cored wire. This is mainly because calcium has a low density and high reactivity in the ladle making it difficult to introduce and retain in the melt. Cored wire eliminates these variables.

3. Application:
(1) Silicon calcium alloy is an ideal deoxidizer and desulfurizer.
(2) CaSi is generally used in manufacturing steel of high quality and low carbon, and the same as the production of stainless.
(3) CaSi is also served as a starting material for other special alloys, such as nickel base alloy and titanium base alloy.
(4) Silicon Calcium Alloy can also be used as the inoculant of cast iron and the additive in the production of nodular cast iron.

- Q: This may sound stupid, but could someone please tell me all the diffrent types of metal and explain them??
- Chromium is regarded with great interest because of its high corrosion resistance and hardness. 18 % Chromium and 11% nickel form stainless steel which is very durable steel and does not corrode. Chromium is a very strong , hard and durable metal even in elemental form. They use chromium to electroplate a hard surface onto steel shafts of hydraulic cylinders. It also is the famous chrome plate that is used for show on motorcycles and show cars. It doesn't corrode and it takes heat very well and is resistant to acids, greases and general bad environments including salt water.
- Q: If, so, what bands are considered grunge metal?
- Alkali metals have one electron in the outer shell. Alkaline earth metals have two electrons in the outer shell. If the period number + the number of elctrons required for a full shell </=7 the element is a non-metal. Metals which are not alkali, alkaline earth or 'rare' earth (57-71 and 89-103) are transition metals.
- Q: Why are group 2 metals harder and why do they have higher melting points than group 1 metals?
- If you consider nu metal metal, then yes. I agree with the folks that keep telling you they are not real metal.
- Q: Up until now, I feel that metal is really noisy. But I want to understand how metal heads appreciate metal. I want to try and appreciate more genres. Any suggestions? how do I appreciate metal?
- What okorder
- Q: What I mean is, bands that combine two or more genres with either hardcore punk or heavy metal, such as Jazz+Rap+Hardcore = Candiria or Death Metal + 70's prog rock = Opeth, what are some other interesting bands you've heard?
- Any Metal in Jewelry with a Color added means it's a mixture of Metals. These are not perfectly the same thing every time,.. they can be ANYTHING any time. This Adds up to Yes, but people are going to EXPECT the added metal to be something they know.
- Q: I don't exactly know what is Speed Metal. Can you please explain me what defines a song to be quot;Speed Metalquot;..or is every Metal song automatically rated as Speed Metal when played at high tempo? At first I thought it was just Heavy Metal with high tempo in guitars and drums. But than I came across to some songs that I thought were Speed Metal but they are rated as Thrash Metal at high speed. Also I noticed two styles of supposed Speed Metals bands.1) Motorhead: Sounds like Punk-Rock mixed with Heavy Metal and the lead singer's voice sounds masculine.2) Judas Priest: Their music is alright but the lead singer's voice makes it feel like listening to Glam Metal with Heavy Metal riffs at high tempo. Can you please provide me with Speed Metal that has a more masculine voice in it. I'm not really into screams that sound like chipmunk.
- A current is run through the coil, which creates an electromagnetic field. This electromagnetic field is directed in the direction of the coil. If the coil is parallel to the ground, the current goes though the ground and back up. If the current interacts with any metal on the way up, it will give it an electromagnetic field of its own. Different metals create different electromagnetic fields.
- Q: I need info about ferrous metals.
- metal will catch on fire in the microwave yes your microwave is probably ruined you should never put any form of metal in the microwave un less the metal comes with the microwave already
- Q: i have a final tomorow and one of the things i need to know is:How pure metals are obtained and calculate % metal in ore.please explain, and a site or example will help TY
- Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Metal Gear 1995 Solid Snake Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake Metal Gear Solid (The Twin Snakes) Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty Metal Gear Solid: Rising Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots No the timeline goes like this (Im not excluding any Non-Solid games)
- Q: the difference between folk, symphonic, power, death, heavy, and black metal
- No, because in terms of riffing styles, lead guitar work and instrumental techniques metalcore is closer to punk than metal. Death core only really takes breakdowns (which aren't used often in death metal) and drop tunings from deathmetal, the majority of instrumental techniques are from punk. So it's more a sub genre of hardcore punk. But of course Hardcore punk died, so metal gets lumbered with it...
- Q: Which one is better?I'll go on a limb and say Psychedelic rock.
