What you consider to be metal is not metal - the vocals almost do not matter. The fact that you posted women screaming into mics shows that you don't really know what you're talking about. Waiting for the thumbs-down now... And Evanescence isn't metal, because the heavier guitars and such, such as in Sweet Sacrifice, are not consistent with their overall sound. Their earlier sound was very rocky. It is hard to categorize them between rock and metal, because I think they are a bit of both, although they are rock most of the time. Leaves' Eyes is metal - their sound is consistently metal throughout, especially with the guitars. They have strong influences of gothic metal as well. Symphonic metal and gothic metal almost go hand-in-hand.
