- Q: i have a bed..and the frame has wheels and i have wood floors so the bed moves alot! how do i stop the bed from moving? do i put somthing under there? please help me..its annoying!
- At a hardware store you can get caster cups to put the wheels into. There are also bed risers that you can get to do this and create extra storage.
- Q: so he is 18 months old and recently got a toddler bed... the first night went well put him in bed shut his door and he got out was at door for a few minutes then got back in bed... but now he is getting out of his bed with his blanket and sleeping right in front of his door... which is a problem because when we go to bed we always open his door open and check on him...now its really hard to get the door even open.. then carefully move him to his bed I def dont want him sleeping on the floor...suggestions please? - How about putting him to bed and then making him stay in his bed and sleep. Wait till he falls asleep in his bed before you leave. That way he will get used to being in his bed. -Connor

- With 30 years of caring for guinea pigs i have found the perfect bedding for guinea pigs that always keeps they dry and comfy. Place a layer of newspaper on the bottom of your cage. Put 2 of pine bedding on top of that and on top of the pine bedding pur 2 of Carefresh bedding. Change their potty spot every 2 to 3 days and the rest of the cage can go up to 2 weeks with one guinea pig. It is a great bedding, at 2 weeks when you roll out the newspaper out usually it has not even gotten damp. The newspaper rolls out taking the bedding with it making changing the cage a breeze. You might think it a bit expensive but it is not as it lasts so long and as i said they never get the slightest bit damp.

- I used to swear by Carefresh. I just recently found something I like better. It's SoftSorbent by Kaytee. It comes in a plain unscented type and now they have three scented ones. They've got rose, mint, and lavender. I personally don't like the smell of rose or lavender so I've only bought the mint. It smells really good, they all have actual bits of whatever plant they smell like in them. So you know it's real and not some chemicals. They also have bits of color, pink purple and green. It actually lasts a lot longer than Carefresh and absorbs the odor and wetness better. I tested it. Carefresh lasts about a week while this can go 2-3 weeks. And the scent lasts for a long time. Of course you should still change bedding every week, I was just testing the difference.
