Q: please hurry school project due TODAY
Big giant coal burning factories with smoke stacks.
Q: Forget the manufacturing price, because if electric-powered supplies were used in the early modern times, then it would set the standards of the supplies' price, thus available to the public in an affordable price. If only people didn't make use of the fossil fuels, the world would be a much better place, since CO2 emissions would be less. But back to the question, is the fact that electricity can be used to power carbon-emitting machines of today? There's also solar energy, so I'm really lost here.
It started out being much simpler and cheaper to use natural gas to power machinery, only now, when it is getting very rare, has it turned into such a cost. If you notice, people are trying to convert things into solar powered, milk powered, electrical powered, and corn powered to save Earth. But it is a very slow process, especially to break a 100 year habit. And when you think of all those machines, and factories, and everything that needs power all over the world, it'll take a very long time to convert.
Q: A piece of machinery valued at $20,000 depreciates at a rate of 9% yearly. How long will it take until it has a value of $10,000? (Express your answer to the nearest tenth.) its not 7.4
Depreciation is straight line so it is $20,000 * .09 = $1800 / yr (20,000 - 10,000) / 1800 = 5.6 years
Q: I want to buy a machine like the one above to start a business. Does anyone know where I can buy one?
Look for concrete saws. They cut rock as well. There's a wide variety available. The link below is one place to start.
Q: Hi I am an Science Graduate but joined a Manufacturing company as an account assistant. i have a question on depreciation. suppose i am calculating depreciation on a Machine for 5 years. After 5 years the asset value becomes zero. then how we have to treat this asset in Balance sheet. i have to pass an account entry etc... let me know if any one can answer this question clearly as i dont have any knowledge in accounts. please explain in details thank you sooo much
You still treat it as an asset with a value of its original purchase price and under accrued depreciation you show the same (full) amount again, effectively resulting in a zero balance for this item.
Q: Should I operate heavy machinery?
Well, fanny (I love that name by the way) after you've gotten drunk and high on your first date, I would give it just a few hours.
Q: I'm doing a paper and I need to know how space exploration influenced movies around the Apollo era. What technological advances (such as the satellites that appear in the movies) were used in Star Wars?
Very little, if any. Remember that this is Hollywood and that means any resemblance to accuracy for science and engineering is an afterthought or relegated to the waste basket when the accountants arrive with their knives and clipboards. To get a more realistic view of space from films you would have to go for 20001 - A Space Odyssey, not much else really. People who quote Star Trek for some of the advances of our own civilization are usually wishful thinkers, a TV series (no matter how well made - or badly) does not generate a major research push on any communications device, it was already happening it just happened to take a decade longer than expected - we had to wait a while for miniaturization and the right materials.
Q: any indian links for machinery and equipment?
find as many as links from below site
Q: Will operating heavy machinery adversely affect my ability to drink alcohol?
Work is the curse of the drinking class. --George Bernard Shaw
Q: what is a symbolic machinery?
It is an item used in a story to represent a more abstract idea. example- in Star Wars the dark side is represented by Darth Vader among others. The light is represented by Yoda and the Jedi. In this case it symbolizes the fight between good and evil. Another example is the Nazi flag. The Nazis revered it. To the rest of the world it is a representation of evil and darkness.
