Epoxy resins are a class of prepolymers and polymers that, when reacted with hardeners or curing agents, form a strong, durable substance used in a variety of commercial and industrial applications.

- Q: Before the problem occurred, the printer was sent to the repair store to fix the ink cartridge. It was fixed, but just after few printing, it will stop and paper will get stuck. it just go over and over. i tried to search the printer if there's some piece of paper stuck, but can't see one. I searched the net for similar problems and have seen one. I think it's that rubber jammed, because i can still print, then after one printing, paper will get stuck again. Help to this.. - Both are extremely corrosive and the reaction between them is very violent generating a lot of heat. A better and safer solution would be to use potassium carbonate. You are not totally correct in your assumption that no toxic gases would be produced. Hot concentrated HNO3 will emit fumes of nitrogen dioxide. I am surprised that you find KOH and HNO3 more readily available in the local market than KNO3. Any laboratory supplier will have it off the shelf.

- . HTH, Diane B. P.S. You can also use some of the 2-part epoxy *glues* instead of the larger containers of epoxy resin if you're doing only small items. One very clear one (at least in the US) is Devcon's 20-Ton, 30 minute setting one. .

- Let's face it, speed bumps are there for a reason. They are intended to caution and slow down traffic in a particular area, even residential ones. They are built to protect not only small children but adults and pets as well from speed freaks. Most of us do not appreciate them like we don't appreciate delays in flights during a routine bomb check until something bad and terrible happen. So I don't think such road structure lowers property values in a neighborhood, unless you have them on every block, in which case, I think is irritating and does affects (lowers) the property values.

- polymer resin (fiberglass), will heat up and crack , because it's characteristics are oil based (plastic) they usually can take some heat , but it will dry up and crack. and needs a housing around any heat sources , to stop this , you will need some 1/2mm plate to cover the holes , either pop riviting the baffler , and welding the exaust , or covering holes with plate , pop riviting , and welding
