- Q: I'm a fairly technical, yet I'm confused about IR technology and can't find any satisfactory answers.On the one hand, I've seen examples of Search and Rescue, military, and other applications of IR tech detecting body heat against a cold background with infrared cameras. - Not sure if its illegal (it might be) but if a fire did occur and they didn't work or work well, then the landlord is setting him up for a multimillion dollars lawsuit. Just repalce them or tell the landlord they need to be replaced. It would cost like $50 or so.

- Q: I have an Ademco alarm system on my home, I found these numbers on the keypad cover, M6894 and K4576V2. It was already installed when we moved in, so I am not sure how it works. We have had problems with it going off because the backup power supply came unplugged, but lately it has been going off about every 20 hours for no apparent reason. I am not even sure if the systems are connected, but could it be warning me that the fire alarm is low on battery? Or are there any other possible solutions? Thanks!
- The problem you have is the reverse of what most guys have, but not a real problem, all you have to do is give it some thought. Who decides what is going to be made for dinner? Does that person decide for every meal? My guess is yes, and I can tell you from my personal experience that it gets tiring coming up with a meal plan every day. I would appreciate the other person planning and making a meal now and then. The other person just has to belly up to the table and eat, not thinking about the shopping, planning, cooking, serving and cleaning up. Your partner is feeling the same about sex, and you just have to treat it like planning for a meal: there is preparation, cooking, serving and then cleanup. First be sure the bedroom is clean and the sheets have been changed, suggest a bath or shower ( and you run the water, set the towels out and offer to scrub her back) , meanwhile you have lowered the lights and lit a candle with some soft music on. Step out of your usual sleepwear ( sweatpants not overly stimulating) with a white A shirt and a pair of loose boxers. Dry her off after her bathing and hold her hand as you lead her into the bedroom, she will be impressed if you have done all this and normally don't do anything. Tease her with light touches and kisses, avoided too much direct contact on the obvious spots because she wants to be seduced. Don't hurry, remember it's the journey that is important, not just the end of the trip. You only have to do this once in awhile and she will be happy you are taking the lead now and then. It doesn't cost alot to do this stuff: just prep, cooking, serving, and then cleanup ( get out of bed and get her a towel and a glass of chilled wine or something).

- i agree with rob.. this has to be a combustion air problem. your attic fan is pumping air out of the house. that air has to come from somewhere, otherwise your house would be a giant vacuum. the attic fan is starving for air and its pulling it from the place with the least resistance, seems that would be the water heater flue.
