- Too heavy and some places won't allow them anymore. Try one of the air mattresses instead. Much more comfortable to sleep on. Some are high and you don't even need a bed frame. Saw them at Big Lots yesterday for $50.00.

- Stay with your full bed, and use a roll out twin under the bed. You don't want to give up your own comfort of a full size bed, and you can hide the roll out twin bed under yours when not in use.

- Redhead+tanning bed= lobster. yes, you WILL get burnt. Try some lotion that gives a tan glow: NOT FAKE TANNER. Jergon's is what I think it's called.

- they have bronzing beds...they get u tan FAST..but i have noticed that it doesnt last as long as a regular bed....hope this helps!

- From experience on wasting my money on beds, we got a big hard plastic dog basket from a second hand site for cheap and use a blanket folded up to fit in the basket. The blanket is just cotton with a little soft filling so fur does not stick to it and it washes easily. The best part about it is that I can lay it outside, bring it with me anywhere and the dog still knows this as his bed without the basket. Usually the pillow ones I found are too big and get ruined too quickly because they are not easy to wash. I've had the same blanket and basket that 4 dogs now have shared for 8 years. :-)

- Don't be ridiculous. Cleanliness has not a darn thing to do with people getting bed bugs. I have no idea how you even associated the two. Do mosquitoes bite dirty people? Nooo... so why would bed bugs only bite dirty people? Logic, please? And 100000000% absolutely, of course bed bugs can spread through apartment walls, and especially if you guys don't get regular extermination with those caulking tools. Even with preventative measures, they can still get you through the outlets, and they sense humans and their scents and body heat. You should be concerned and freaked out about contracting them. There are preventative measures and you should take them now, before you end up like me and contract bed bugs. I think I got mine from my family traveling so much. And sure, bed bugs might be slightly worse if you have a lot of clutter in your home, but I am the world's anti-pack-rat, the anti-clutter, and I have bed bugs worse than I could have ever imagined. It is a living hell and I do not wish it on you. Set the legs of your bed in mineral oil, go to the store and get some kind of bed bug repellent, Home Depot has TONS of options. You should be able to find a good preventative pesticide. If you have the money, buy a plastic, air-tight mattress cover and get that out of the way. That's the best thing you can do. They cost about 60-100 dollars. I hope you avoid the B-Bugs. Good luck.

- Q: Is intelligel/orthogel the most comfortable bed? How long do they last?
- No bed is the most comfortable for everybody. To find the one that's right for you, go to a good bed shop (not a bargain one) and lie down on lots of them. Some will be too firm, some will be too soft and hopefully one will be just right. The more you spend usually the more comfortable it is and the longer it will last. Never buy a bed without lying on it for at least several minutes, with a good pillow. A good bed shop will expect you to do this. General advice is to change your bed every ten years but we had a really good pocket sprung one that lasted for 30!!! (And no it didn't smell, and yes it was still clean)
- Q: i've heard great things about memory foam beds, but our house uses evaporative cooling in the summer (and I'm in southern AZ!)
- if you use your bed to watch tv or sit on without being in the sleeping position it starts to get a bulge where you sit, i guess if you change where you sit every few hours it should be fine, this is just a warning other than that i don't know sorry, it was very nice to sleep in until it bulged where i sit
