Q:I need to buy a new vacuum because the dirt devil I have doesnt work. I would like some feedback before I buy a new one. I'm looking to spend around $100 dollars. Any preferred models or brands?: We have a Rainbow and I absolutely love it. It works for all surfaces and the water in the chamber keeps dust from blowing around. It has a shampoo attachment, also you can use it as an air freshener. I would never own anything else. They are expensive but well worth the money.

Q:how many brands are there except Shark navigator?have u tried them? are they really easy?: The okorder /... I believe that Hoover originated the lift off design a few years ago. I've not used this one, but I have seen it kicking around warehouse retailers when was first released. To be honest, I think that the lift off canister design is far more hype than actually useful - regardless of the brand name. The theory of a smaller, portable vacuum is good, no doubt, but having to carry/hold the vacuum in one hand while you operate it with the other kind of defeats the purpose.

Q:We are looking into buying a new vacuum, I are newly married I really don't know what a good vacuum is since I don't have much experience taking care of a home by myself.Our price range is $0-$200. We live in apartments so the carpet is low grade and we don't have much storage. I wanted something compact, has a hose so I can vacuum around the sofa. I also don't really want to buy online since most vacuums cost $20s in shipping.What is your opinion is the best vacuum and is there any other features that I might want that I don't know I want? lol.Thanks a bunch!: Based on Consumer's Reports about vacuum cleaners, I went with an Eureka The Boss SmartVac. It actually does a better job for pet hair removal than the Dyson Animal. I'm an older woman and have had many vacuums thru the years and this is absolutely the BEST vacuum I've ever owned. It has a Pet Brush attachment as one of the tools and it's fantastic. Removing cat hair from the chairs and sofa was always a problem, but not now!! It was about $150 (on sale) and well worth the money.

Q:Hi all,Bought a Kirby Vacuum Cleaner yesterday as they claimed it picked up 99.5% of the dirt compared to what's on today's market, which picks up 5%. But for those of them who have them at home, did you find them better than what you had previously?: Our Kirby has been great. We have pets in the house and its handled that really well. You do need to have it serviced every few years to keep it clean and performing at 100%

Q:I need your help! I have had over 6 diffrent vacuums. The first one was great but heavy and old. It was a GE but now the old thing has broken down. So I have tried to get the light weight ones, the cordless ones, even ones with all these kits with them, but they are all worthless. Either they break or all too delecate or too big. I NEED ONE THAT IS BAGLESS, HAS GOOD SUCTION, SMALL THAT WILL FIT UNDER BEDS AND TABLES, GOOD WITH CAT HAIRS AND MAYBE INCLUDE A HOSE TOO. Please help. Give me a store name and a URL of the vacuum. Thanks.: Good one! :-P I did accidently!!! I was coming home with my vacume I just had repaired, it was a Hoover. The other car I had at the time was a hatch back. well, the clip on it had broken and I was traveling down the highway back home when the back flew open and my vacume took off, hit the ground........................ I was driving like 60 on that freeway and looking out my rear view window at my horror, the poor thing was sparking all over the place and other cars were dodging it in it's pass as it was litterly cruising backwards at high speed! I sincerely hope it didn't cause any accidents but I could have been cited for that. Nevertheless, I had the back door fixed and have a different car now. As for the poor Hoover, it went to the BIG Pearly gates in the sky!!!!!!!!!!!! :-( +(

Q:I'm really confused i have a dry vaccum cleaner there is filters inside to protect the dirt entering in to the motor , so i'm thinking of a wet so how this work when water enters the motor does it damage? or it is working like a water pump? if so how the suction all work ?: You can remove the filter to vacuum up water. There should be a float ball that plugs the air passage to the motor if water gets too high in the canister, and prevent water from entering it. Good Luck
