Q: thank you..are the y functioning well?: In my opinion they are not worth the money you pay for them. Fine for tiny little messes like spilt dust but not for anything else. You spend more time cleaning them out than using them. I wouldnt waste my money on them. Much better to buy a smaller sized vacuum cleaner rather than a mini one.

Q: I essentially am looking for a carpet/floor upright vaccum cleaner. I was looking around in stores and found a lot of choice however. I notieced the following things about various brands.1. Bissell = Seems to be the cheapest and offers more features for it's price but looks kind of flimsy. Is this a good brand. Offers 1 yr warranty.2. Dirt devel = Cost a little more and looks better. Offers 2 yr warranty?3. Hoover = I know this is a well known brand but all I was able to see was the steamvacs. My mom had one and it's about 4 yrs old. Its very good still cleans up.Also I noticed Canaster Vacuum cleaners. What are the advantages of these? What is the purpose of having a canaster? I just don't want to get a habbit of purchasing a vacuum every 1 year because it breaks....: About canister vacs: Canisters are great at cleaning hardwood floors, drapes and hard to reach spots. Most canisters also come with an assortment of tools and attachments for special cleaning jobs. Some may find it awkward because you pull the vacuum from behind. If you don't want to replace your vacuum every year, go with a Dyson. It is the best purchase you will ever make. I spent hours looking in stores for the perfect vacuum and ended up finding just what I needed, the dyson dc15 animal, online (MUCH lower prices and better info) The suction never wears out, so you won't need to replace it. It is great at getting up hair and for people with allergies.

Q: I'm shopping for a new bagless vacuum. I'm not worried about allergies, but I don't want dust flying back out of my vacuum. While one that uses a micro-filtratation may be cheaper than one with a HEPA filter, will it meet my need?: My heavens, I never have been flashed, but I did unintentionally flash a few folks once. I was in the hospital some time back and decided to take a stoll to the vending area. Well, I wasn't thinking about what I was wearing and, let's just say that those hospital gowns don't leave a lot to the imagination on the backside. The nurse came up from behind me and put a blanket over my shoulders . . . I was wondering why it was a little drafty back there!

Q: I have 4 cats and my vacuum recently broke. It wasn't all that good with picking up cat hair anyways. Can you suggest good vacuum cleaners for cat hair under $200? The attachments aren't a big deal to me and probably would be more of a hassle. Looking for something with easy disposable and strong suction. Thanks: if you want a good vacuumm for pets it is going to cost much much more than 200 bux.

Q: I live in a townhouse area that is only separated from the other houses by walls. Almost everyday I hear my neighbour's vacuum cleaner for about 30 minutes at a time. I know that nobody could have carpets dirty enough to require that much vacuuming. I just hope it is nothing sexual. What do you all think?: aghh i used to live in a townhouse. i had this crazy insane neighbor who would just open and close his garage constantl/ turn his alarm on in his house after he left so you could like.. hear it going off through the walls for everrr but anyway.. maybe the guy just likes to vacuum. or maybe he's just crazy.

Q: i need it for picking up guinea pig droppings. i've built an indoor pen, with safe soil and grass i grew for them to run around in, just because theres dangerous things outside, plus if given the chance they would run away haha... thats how it is ( No matter how much you love them gt;lt;) but im worried, that all the handheld vacuum cleaners i can find claim to be strong, and able to pick up deep.. yaddayadda.. i need something pretty weak, because i dont want to uproot the grass/seeds. any advice?: Get okorder /

Q: It's really a simple engineering principal, four fixed wheels like to go in straight lines. Where as a ball can move it in any direction.So in clear choice, easy turns with minimal efforts, or do it the old fashioned way.It's quite amusing that a vacuum cleaner and its complexities completely destroy Evolution. And yet it's treated as fact, sigh.: My vacuum cleaner can move in all directions. Sigh!
