- Well G10's are game improvement irons. So are you looking for a better player's iron? I suggest you find a demo day and try out different equipment there. There happening as we speak. I'm sure there is one at your local driving range or pro shop this weekend. I agree with Dawgs. Having hit the VR Pro Combo myself, they're phenomenal. A combination set with full cavity long irons, split cavity mid irons, and blade short irons. Another set to consider is Mizuno's JPX-825 Pro. It's classified as a game improvement iron, but Mizuno list it's handicap spectrum from 4-16. There is also TaylorMade's RBladez Tour irons and Ping's first forged iron the Ping Anser. I tell you right now, that they're the most expensive set of irons I've ever seen.
