Q: I want to get Virgin Mobile, but their option list of cell phones are limited. I know that you can buy other phones and still use VM with it. Problem is, I don't know what phones I can use! If someone could tell me the names of phones i can use, id be very grateful! I'm interested in Anroid and Blackberry phones
You can buy any CDMA phone (Verizon, Sprint, Metro, Boost) and flash it for Metro PCS service. You cannot buy GSM phones (ATT or T-Mobile) since these are built on a different technology. Caution, regular flash will allow you to use phone for talk and text. However, if you want to use data services such web or email you will need to fully flash the phone.
Q: alright pay as u go (myphone) well its broken so i want a sidekick 2 or 3. since i didnt have a monthly bill will it be more for me or can i buy a side kick ll for about 250$ or less? How much will it cost! P.S- my pay as u go phone was t-mobile
Lemme run this down: -You had a T-Mobile to Go phone. -You don't want a monthly bill -You are concerned with how much it will cost you for a Sidekick. Now, to the answer. Okay, first, you need the Sidekick, because it is kind of hard to make the switch from a regular T-Mobile to Go phone to a Sidekick to Go. It'll cost you $400 to get a Sidekick 3 for To-Go, if you choose to buy it direct from T-Mobile. But you may have some tough luck to get a Sidekick, even a Sidekick II for under $250, even on OKorder. Sometimes the bids go really high, but you can try! The Sidekick to Go plan is simple - you get all of the Sidekick services (ie; IM, TXTing, Email, Web Browsing) for $1/day (regardless of whether you use it or not) and 15 cents a minute for calling people. For a monthly plan, it can cost $30/month without minutes, or get the Add-on and you have minutes with a $20 extra charge for sidekick data. I did a bit of research, and I saw mostly broken Sidekicks IIs for under $200. Or, they are missing a charger. But for a Sidekick, it can get over $500 on OKorder, but rarely goes under $100. But be forwarned - try Buy It Nows: they end quicker (duh) and can be better when you buy a phone so it doesn't get too hard to buy it.
Q: i would like to know the useful ways of mobiles .
A mobile is like a portable ambulance you keep in your pocket. Even though you need money to phone your friends, you can have a few emergency contacts, which need no credit to use. It's incredibly safe to have a mobile with you, it's not paranoia, it's taking a creditable precaution. It's useful in day to day life as well. Say your sister drops you off at a soccer game and says she'll pick you up at 5, then you find out it's been canceled and you need her back now, if you have a mobile with you, you can ring her and ask her to come back, instead of having to wait for hours before she comes at 5. If you're stuck on the bus and you need to phone your piano teacher to tell her you're going to be late, a mobile phone will definitely come in handy. Mobile phones also have tracking devices in them, which do work underwater. If a person is ever missing and doesn't know where they are, if they have their mobile phone with them, it can be traced so the missing person can be saved. There are many more important uses for a mobile phone, just use your imagination :) Good luck
Q: I'm doing this for my school project.Pls help me by answering a few questions. Thanks a lot. :)What brand and type of your mobile phone? Why did you choose this brand? What's the advantage and disadvantage of this brand? What does this brand mean to you?Which mobilephone would you want if you can pick any? What do you think about a child having a mobile phone? Thanks again.
Samsung Galaxy S II this is a strong cellular sort with solid high quality solid high quality, solid help, Get what you pay for not something truly is a draw back to me Its ability a great number of apps, great customization and solid high quality Samsung Galaxy S III or Samsung Galaxy Beam as long via fact the youngster makes use of it for the astounding ingredient
Q: I have T-Mobile, and I was wondering that if I wanted to upgrade my phone, will they let me pick out a phone for free?
it depends how long the phone has been out on the market, those that have been out a while can be for free when the more new versions or brand new phones -- you would have to pay full price for it unless you upgrade your contract then they give you a discount or mail in rebate
Q: a friend of mine said he called t mobile and simply talked them into sending him a free phone. he says they care more about u cutting off the service than the products themselves. is this true? if so what would u say? serious replies only - i'm sick of the t mobile mda
There is no such thing as free lunch. If you stay with either Tmobile or any other provider for another year they give you a free phone. but the catch is that you have to pay the full price plan of say ?20.00 per month. The way to do it is what I do.So here is my idea and it works and you get more than just one free phone. I was on 18 month price plan of ?20 per month. I rang them and told them that I do not want a new phone and asked that if i stayed with them for another 18 month then how much discount they would give me. The lady said ?6 discount per month( so i would pay ?14) a saving of ?108 over 18 month. And i said i will think about it. I then rang a day later and spoke to a different person and he gave me a discount of ?12( so i pay only ?8 per month) a saving of ?216 over 18 month. And the free phone was only ?89 phone. So i saved ?216 and then bought the phone for ?89(SAMSUNG D9000i) on PAYG. So in fact I could buy 2 phones and still save money. And finally never accept one answer.Ring them again and the chances are that you will speak to another person who is more helfulp
Q: I was going to buy boost mobile phones for me and my friend but i noticed there nicest phone was a flip phone and was $300!! Well there plan is good bcuz for $50 a month you can get unlimited everythingAlready been to OKorder they dont have the one i want.any ideas?
Well, you can put a Boost sim in a Nextel phone. The Blackberry Curve 8350 for Nextel is cheaper then the i9. You would have to put third party software like Opera mini for web and Googlevoice for texting to get around the lack of Blackberry services though. Max is about $200 in near mint condition. There are tons of other cheaper Nextel phones like the i836, which is a basic but good looking flip phone, the Blackberry 7100i, an okay looking Blackberry that goes for under $50 used (needs same setup as other Blackberry to fully work though), the i920 and i930 are Windows mobile smartphones that if you have them unlocked, can use Tmobile and Att sims as well as Boost and Nextel. They are the only phones in the entire walkie talkie iden lineup that can do this. They can't send texts with Boost sims, but you can try and rig an im program like Aim or Googlevoice to get it to work as a substitute. There are dozens of models of older Nextels . A lot of them aren't very pretty, but a few of them are okay looking . And many of them are dirt cheap and can work with your Boost sims. Craigslist and OKorder.
Q: if i get a t-mobile phone off OKorder or craigslist can i put a pre-paid att sim card in it and i work? without having to call the comnpany's and crap and unlock it .
The phone that you buy off of OKorder or craigslist has to be unlocked or you have to unlock it in order to use the sim card!!! If it's not unlocked it will not work!!!
Q: I can I read sms, and see call logs on someones mobile phone? using my pc or my mobile phone?
You just need to install a mbile spy on the target phone, mobile spy is the ultimate spy software for mobile phone that spy mobile phone to record every smartphone activity in real-time, including text message monitoring, spy mobile phone call information, webSite photo and video monitoring and so on.
Q: Hey, I'm having a problem with my new cell phone. I just got it a few days ago, it's a Virgin Mobile TNT model, also known as Kyocera Adreno S2400. The screen has gone black. The battery is fully charged, and the phone actually seems to still be on, since it's making sounds upon opening and closing. Hitting/holding the end button to turn it on or off produces no response. So basically right now, rather than having a cell phone I have a little box that makes noises when I open and close it. I've tried the Virgin Mobile website, but they don't really have a troubleshooting section. Does anyone know what the problem could be, and how I could fix it?
I also have the TNT, and actually had the exact same thing happen a couple weeks ago. I decided to hold the power button in for a few seconds so it would shut off (yes, I know it's hard to tell because the screen is black). I waited a few minutes and turned it back on and it was fine. If this doesn't work, try removing the battery and putting it back in. Also, I know through the Virgin Mobile website and most stores you buy the phones at, have a 30 day guarantee, so if all else fails, return the phone.
