Q: These appear to be made such that one could turn it by hand. Unfortunately these are so tight I can't budge them. Maybe if I were Hercules I could, but I'm not.I've searched for the best way to remove these. I've seen a basin wrench mentioned, but these seem to be made for removing metal nuts. I haven't seen anyone mentioning using one of these for a nylon nut. Will a basin wrench work for this? If not, what tool does one use for this?
Yes a basin wrench will work. If you want to reuse the nut be careful not to break the ears (if its the type with ears) or slip and chew up the corners of the nut with the teeth of the basin wrench. Rigid makes a special basin wrench for this type of faucet nuts found in the plumbing dept. at your home improvement store.
Q: My kitchen faucet got broken, so i am trying to replace it with a new faucet. But here is my problem. I CANNOT uninstall the old faucet!!!! The main screw that holds the old faucet got rusty and the space around the screw is so little, I cannot uninstall it. It is so tight and it doesn't come out....I feel like if I continue trying, it may totally ruin the screw and it may never come out...Is there any advice for that? Pls help me!!!!
spray some DW-40 and then try .There's no other way without making damage in sink for Replacement .
Q: It's aquasource /f51b0034np
Loose where? If it is loose at the sink, where the whole faucet moves, you must tighten it from under the sink and you will most likely need a basin wrench. Go to the local hardware store and discuss this with the folks there. They should be able to give some better advice as I cannot ask questions. They will sell you the basin wrench and explain it's use as needed. Good luck!
Q: i got the old faucet off just fine, but am having trouble reconnecting the water supply. every time i try to screw it on it starts out fine when i twist it on with my fingers, but as soon as i try to tighten it further with the basin wrench both hot and cold lines screw on very crooked. after a couple of tries i thought maybe it wouldnt cause that much of a problem so after i turned them as far as they would go i turned the valves back on to see and water sprayed everywhere. what am i doing wrong?
Oh I bet you got the wrong sized supply lines. Take one back off and compare it side by side with the old one. I bet ya, I bet ya!
Q: How is the detachment of the Crowe basin?
Finally, when the faucet, where the faucet and the basin contact with the place, are required to use rubber lap pad (the top of a basin, the following one), with the wrench to the root of the root and lock the mother tightened, the root of the fixed water faucet Role, if installed too loose, the tap in the use of rotation, so that the following lock the mother to produce leakage problems.
Q: how necessary is a reservoir wrench when installing a new faucet?
Since there is no such thing, not very important at all. If you mean a basin wrench (such as what is in the provided link), though not *necessary* it can (in some circumstances) make installation much easier. Al

Q: How to remove the hose from the washbasin faucet
If you still have a pull-type fell into the water, have to pull the rod and fall control lever separately.
Q: Please use details. I am wanting to change my faucets. I'm okay with doing things myself so, I thought to install it on my own. Help, please, with the removal and installation. Thanks.
It would actually be helpful for you to go to a home improvement store and ask the people in plumbing. They can then show you what you're going to be up against, and how the various faucet models are fastened into the sink. Usually, for the type of faucet with two handles on either side of the spigot, there is a threaded water pipe coming down from the bottom of each valve. These then fit through the holes on the edge of the sink and you slip what's called a spanner nut onto these pipes, and tighten them up to fasten the faucet to the sink. You then attach the water supply lines to these pipes. For the types of faucet with the single handle in the middle, you may only have one threaded pipe with the water supply lines running up through it. One issue you may have in accessing the spanner nuts is that there's not enough room between the sink and back wall to access the nuts. In this case, you'll need a tool called a spanner wrench, which is basically a crescent-shaped metal clamp on the end of a metal handle that clamps down onto the nut when you turn it (ask the sales person in plumbing to show you one). Removing the old faucet can be the hardest part, especially if the old parts are rusted or corroded in place. You can also very easily break or strip old water cut-off valves when removing the corroded water lines, which will require that you replace them with the correct type (and you'll have to turn off the main water supply valve to do so). When you purchase the new faucet, you'll see how it gets connected in the instructions on the box. Various models have somewhat different actual mounting hardware. But, they're all basically the same (a type of spanner nut).
Q: It stopped working out of no where so the only way i can use my kitchen sink is to use the hand held spreyer.. I have never replaced one before and wasnt sure if i need to turn off water to the whole house or not...
No, just the valves under the sink. It may be the sprayer is actually the failure point, they seem to get gunked up, and won't release, they sell a $5 kit to just replace the head on the sprayer, but they rarely work, save yourself the trouble and buy the $15 hose and sprayer kit to replace the whole thing altogether.
