Q: i am trying to figure out a way to use a metal halide bulb in another light fixture because the price of a metal halide fixture is entirley to exspensive im trying to atleast use a 175 watt metal halide bulb i want to know is there any kind of other light fixture that will fit a metal halide bulb
I would say Stoner Metal. Rythemn what type of music do you exactly like when you are talking about Speed Metal because Speed Metal is such a broad genre no offence. I mean, Speed Metal is usually combined with another genre. Such as Slayer plays both Speed and Thrash Metal. Then there are bands like Dragonforce who play Speed and Power Metal. Then you have Wintersun who plays Melodic Death Metal and Speed Metal. So exactly what bands do you listen to that are considered Speed Metal? Just curious. Thanks for backing my opinion up Killer Peaches.
Q: And, what are three ways other than welding to fasten metal?
Metal =/= Scene music
Q: What is progressive metal?
Obituary, Death, Slayer, Suffocation, Morbid Angel, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Onslaught, Kreator, Anthrax, Black Sabbath, Bloodbath, Entombed, Exodus, Possessed, Necrophagist, etc..
Q: some Nu Metal bands are:KoЯnLinkin Park (their older stuff)Limp BizkitDisturbed (their first album)SlipknotStatic-XP.O.D.Papa Roach (their older stuff)
Just as much as they ever have. I know quite a few that do but I listen to Metal so I'm naturally going to know a lot of others that also listen to Metal. It also depends on what you consider Metal. Metal is a HUGE category!
Q: any metals
Arch Enemy Armageddon Arsis At teh Gates Children of Bodom Eternal Tears of Sorrow Kalmah Norther Wintersun Symphony X Kamelot Blind Guardian
Q: and bands mixed with power metal and melodic death metal
in case you weren't aware of this; slipknots playing style doesn't even categorize as being metal anymore, they play with more of an alternative style and you don't want to listen to that, it's audio decay. I read the other participants answers and most of the bands they have listed play more of that contemporary alternative metal , which sucks in my personal opinion, here is a list of a few bands that I think should impress you. Annihilator, Children of Bodom, Cinderella, Scorpions, Flotsam and Jetsam, Roxx Gang, Guns N' Roses Iron Maiden, Down, Celtic Frost, Skid Row, Sepultra Pantera Municipal Waste Megadeth, Slaughter, Metal Church, W.A.S.P, Exhorder Vinnie Vincent Invasion Twisted Sister, Down 80's Metallica, Firewind
Q: leaning towards death metal/hardcore wise
Modern Melodic Metal/ Nu-metal (System of a Down, James Labrie, Later In Flames, Avenged Sevenfold) Symphonic Metal (Symphony X, Nightwish, Sonata Artica, later Skillet) Thrash Metal (The big 4, Overkill, Exodus) Aleternative Metal (Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Skillet, Deftones) Rap Metal (Rage Against the Machine, Beastie Boys, Static X, 90s Anthrax) Traditional Metal (Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Led Zep) Metalcore (Bullet For My Valentine, As I Lay Dying, Devil Wears Prada, Early Avenged Sevenfold, Trivium) Melodeath (Amon Amarth, The Agonist, Children of Bodom, Cannibal Corpse, Dethklok, Early In Flames) PROGRESSIVE METAL (Dream Theater, Tool, Opeth, Later Metallica, Liquid Tension Experiment)
Q: Hey, can anyone help me find some good metal bands? I'd prefer heavy or death metal, and 80's metal is good too. A few of the bands I listen to are :SlipknotDisturbedIron MaidenThanks in advance.
