Q: Just out of curiosityI'm getting a rat within the month, and i am planning on using the linenWhat brand do you use if you use the other stuff?
Aluminum pan is fine for cooking but be sure to put it into a different dish to store leftovers as tomato can eat through aluminumStart with sauce then noodles, ricotta, meat or veggies, grated mozzarella and Parma, more sauce then repeat finish with grated mozzarella, cover and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees then remove the cover and continue baking for 10-15 minutes to brown the cheese if you likeJust be sure the lasagna is bubbling and the cheese is meltedEnjoy!
Q: Knitting, wrong size needles, should I add stitches?
we had our walls done with Fibre and it is lovely and warm, we did not have the option of foam
Q: I want to run an Ethernet cable from my living room to my xbox360 in my bedroom and the easiest and most eye appealing way is to go through the atticThe questions I have are 1Is cat6 a good enough cable to go with?2Also what kind of cable type would work best?3It will be in a attic so would heat/cold make a difference?4It will have to run close to/cross some electrical wire so will that mess with the connection?5Any other ways to do this? (want to spend less than $70)6Do they make connectors so you could connect to separate cables together? Thanks!
1Cat6 is good if you are running GigabitCat 5e is usually just fine for Fast Ethernet (100 Mbps)2I'm unsure of what you mean by type since Cat 6 and Cat 5e are typesIf you are going to remain within building codes, you'll need to run Ethernet cable that has a Plenum jacketThose are more expensive but do not give off poisonous fumes if they burn3Heat and cold can make a difference, but Plenum cables are usually built to stand those kinds of changes4Yuck! Just be sure to never run the cable parallel to electrical cables - ALWAYS run the Ethernet cable across at a 90-degree angleThis prevents most of your electrical interferenceHowever, the further away you keep your Ethernet cable from any electrical cables, the cleaner the signal and the faster it will runYou can try purchasing shielded Ethernet cable in Plenum jacketing, but that will be more expensive and will require a way to ground the wire at each end5You can try wireless, although I don't know if XBox is that advanced (hahahaha!)6They do make connectors that allow you to connect RJ-45s togetherJust remember the more of those you use, the more noise you will let in and the worse your connection will beTry to use the fewest connectors that you can Good luck!
Q: i need more fiberi am on atkins dieti dont want fiber to make me bloated or gassy thoughI need something that works wellAnd is easy to take with mealsCan't be too expensive.
Baked Beans Tomato Casserole 1 pound of lima beans, soaked for 12 hours, drained 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced 2 medium onions, finely chopped 1/2 cup of olive oil 1 pound of ripe tomatoes, peeled, finely chopped (or 16ozof canned chopped plum tomatoes) 2 small cubes of vegetable bouillon (or beef for non-vegetarians/non-vegans) sea salt (optional) freshly ground pepper 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped 2 cups of water (1 1/2 cups if using canned tomatoes) Add the beans to a pot with enough cold water to cover wellBring to a boil, reduce heat and cook at a slow boil for 1 hourDrain and set asidePreheat the oven to 325F (160C)Using a wooden spoon, sauté the onion and garlic in the olive oil until softAdd tomatoes (if using canned, add all liquid as well), bouillon cubes, salt, pepper, parsley, and water, and allow to boil gently for 10-30 minutes, until it begins to thickenPlace the beans in an oven-proof pan, add tomato mixture, stir and spread mixture out evenlyBake 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until beans are soft(Check the dish during cooking and if needed, add a small amount of boiling water.) The dish will look crispy on topRemove from the oven, cover, and allow to coolServe warm or at room temperature
Q: i'm making a charcoal furnace and i need a good cruciblei'm not getting a metal one cause it will oxidize and just flake off so i'm either getting ceramic, glass or porcelainwhich one is the most resistant to heat shock? btw, i know it seems like it's in the wrong category but i think that the sciency people here should know so thanks in advance!
The standard crucible is a special glazed ceramic materialIt is made reasonably thin so that it will withstand a degree of thermal shockHowever in your furnace it heats and cools gently so thermal shock is not an issueMerely high temperature stabilityMost glasses are useless as they melt at too low a temperatureAnd as glass is a supercooled liquid it tends to become reactive as it gets hotter so it may affect whatever you are wishing to heat.
Q: Knit Wedding Dress
the best hair straightener is bed head i use it all the time and my hair is straight as can be 24-7
Q: im got some fiber supplement powder because i realized i wasnt getting anywhere close to recommended amounti think males are supposed to get 35 gramswill this help to clean me out of bad stuff like a detox? and is it bad to take all 35 grams at once (im guessing yes)thanks!

Q: I'm trying to lose a bit of weight, or at least maintain my weightMy problem is, I tend to binge eatI eat healthy things but then all of a sudden I'll binge and I think this has a lot to do with the fact that I eat a LOT of empty caloriesI found an article in Self Magazine, and it helped a lotIt told you what kinds of things to buy, even to avoid binging from a lack of indulging every once in a whileI'm going to go to the grocery store and so far, my list includes:-Activia light yogurt-Fat-free cottage cheese-Lots of fruits and veggies (i get the frozen mixed kind of veggies as well as fresh like spinach which i know is great for you)-light tuna-eggs ( i plan to hard boil them, as they keep you full)and a few other thingsother ideas?
Soft scrub with bleach and then 409 to remove the residue left by the softscrub.
Q: Why does a fibre glass stove top crack spontaneously? This morning I found the top to be uniformly cracked?
What an odd material to make a stove top out ofNo one in their right mind would make a stove top out of flammable thermoset resins and fiberglassI can see their ad nowCall 1-800-CRAZY STOVE !!!! Now with more flammability!!! Comes with a free 60 day monitoring contract with ADT!! Good thing it bustedChuck that thing as far as you can and get a proper stove-EDIT- OK, makes a lot more senseYou have a glass ceramic cooktopThese cooktops are formulated to have a near 0 thermal expansion curve over a wide range of temperaturesThe ceramic used in the cooktop actually has a negative thermal expansion coefficient and when mixed with a borosilicate or vaseline glass, a near 0 can be attainedThermal shock doesn't really figure into these kinds of cooktopsPhysical shock doesSmall scratches on the glass can propagate at over 20,000 ft/secThat is one of the reasons why you don't move a pot or pan back and forth over one of these things like you would on a gas stove topI would guess that the cooktop was simply old, scratched, and did not posses a perfect 0 thermal expansion coefficient10 years? Yeah, that's about rightSorry manNot your fault, but you will have to get a new one.
Q: I love eating cereal in the morning but most of them have too much sugar and I'm trying to lose some weight(I'm jogging a mile a day, and eating healthy foods) Does anyone know of any cereals high in fiber that are not so sweet, but also taste good?? Please Thanks
