- Q: we are manufacturing company making large volumes of cotton and blended yarns and fabricswe also generate lots of cotton wasteI hate to seel the waste in that same formcan i convert this into some other product like converting them into paper boards or something else
- yeah i say use a good fire clay with high grog amounts, this way you can fire it.or not and have a really good paintable surface, your more expensive alternative is Super Sculpey which is fantastic because you can bake it and stuff but its really expensive and fire clay is pretty suitable for your projectMake sure you use a good armature for that flower, clay wont really work on a thin leafy build unless there is a metal wire inside of itAnd as far as sturdy goes.regular good ol Plasticine should be sturdy enough.as long as you make a mold out of it and like make it in plaster so you can paint it
- Q: We have an Automatic/Electric fan in the house that i use every single nightRegardless how cold it isLast night it was about freezing temperature (live in Cali) and i had it in full blastI did have a blanket and a sweater on thoughPeople think its crazyi dont really know why and how to explain it.what do you think? .some kind of OCD??? lol
- addicting games those are very fun!!!
- Q: I'm new at loom knittingI've only found acrylic yarns, can't seem to find 100% wool, alpaca, etcI'm looking for really soft yarn amp; bulky to make a hat amp; scarf for my hubbyAny recommendations for your favorite yarn would be greatThanks!
- Yeah, there's several books that mention itOne small problemMetal doesn't shrink that muchStick an empty soda can in a dry ice freezerIt won't miraculously shrink to 1/2 it's size or anythingAnd that's aluminumMortars are heavy steel tubesJust not happeningIt also mentions that 70% failed to detonateCold, does not stop things from detonatingIt just doesn't work that way.
- Q: I'm looking to make a cute baby blanket for my unborn babyI still have mine that my mom made for me before I was born and I would like my baby to have it as a keep sake later in life.I need some suggestions regarding the type of quot;fabricquot; I should useI don't mind spending money on something expensive as long as it's long lasting and good qualityI was thinking about cashmire for a while, do you think it would be suitable for a blanket for a newborn?Last question, where can I get good quality materials to knit the blanket? Are there any quot;luxury fabric storesquot; either online or regular one that somebody can recommend me? Thanks a bunch!
- I'm sorry to tell you this but there are tons of problems with your questionFirst off, you can't knit a blanket with a crochet hook. You can crochet a blanket with the hook, or you can knit one with some needled, but they are not interchangeableCashmere, in my opinion, would be a very bad option for a baby blanket.Unless you have something like a christening shawl in mind (iesomething that you will wrap the baby in for a short time for pictures or something like that and then put away for safekeeping), baby blankets should be an easily washable material.Honestly, I would go with an acrylic or blend that is machine washable and would require minimum blocking of the finished objectIf you are new to knitting/crocheting, I would recommend finding an easy baby blanket pattern and some yarn at someplace like Michael's or Hobby Lobby. There will be pattern booklets and entire books devoted to simple, quick baby needlework. Also, these stores have very nice beginner yarns (especially Hobby Lobby)Good luck with your project and congratulations on the new baby!
- Q: I recently bought a pair of ringspun lucky brand jeans and they feel softer than my other jeans, that's about itWhat is the difference? Are they higher quality? How do I care for and launder them? I've been looking online for info about ringspun jeans, but I can't find anything.
- Check both of the heads to make sure they are straightThe cast iron heads need to be checked for cracks, magnafluxing the heads is the term usedThe aluminum heads need to be pressure tested for cracksUse a fricken magnet if you can't just look at the heads and tell!
