Q: i just bought a new keyboard today then when i turned around my CPU to plug it in, i realized that the cord for the keyboard is rectangular and the hole in the CPU is circular! is there anything i can buy to make this keyboard fit into the hole? how much would it cost?: It sounds like the keyboard you bought is for a com port hook up. The round hole is called a PS-2 connection. Most all keyboards and mouse are PS-2 but the serial port will also work. Look for the connection on your computer that matches your cord

Q: I have a lenovo ideapad Y580, the other day I say smudges on some of the keyboard's keys so I took a cloth and cleaned them but as I was rubbing the key with the cloth I was holding down on the button. Q: i wanted to know what's the difference between a keyboard and a piano. at school we are learning instruments and i was gonna choose piano. but at skull they use a keyboard. and since pianos are expensive i would rather buy a keyboard.So my question is what's the difference between a piano and a keyboard? Can i practice piano on a keyboard? Will it sound the same?: Main difference is: one is obviously accoustic and the other is electronic. And yes, you can practice on a keyboard, but it's preferable to use a piano whenever you can if you're not going to buy one. Also, the board can be more sensitive to touch, but you don't have much control when it comes to dynamics; so no, the sound will be anything from slightly to completely different. If you're going to only play for school and then stop after, maybe just get a keyboard; there are some decent ones out there that aren't too expensive, and are nearly like playing an actual piano. But it's really up to you and how serious and dedicate you'd be. Some places let you hire/rent them (keyboard, as I'm not sure if you can do the same with a piano) for some amount of money for as long as you want; and if you decide that you want to keep it, they'll take off what you've already paid while renting it (that is if you haven't already paid it all off) from the original price.
