Q: i am indian come to perth soon! i am confused what mobile phone i should bring, i mean frequency type?
These are the frequency's that the Australian carriers use on their mobile phone networks. Note that Telstra only uses 850 on their 3G network which means a lot of phones do not work with Telstra's 3G. Hutchison 3G Australia Pty Limited - 3G 2100 Singtel Optus Limited (YES OPTUS) - GSM 900/1800 Singtel Optus Limited (YES OPTUS) - 3G 2100 Telstra Corporation Limited (Telstra MobileNet) - GSM 900/1800 Telstra Corporation Limited (Telstra MobileNet) - 3G 850 Vodafone Pacific Limited - GSM 900/1800 Vodafone Pacific Limited - 3G 2100
Q: How can i use my camera mobile phone as webcan in messenger? Is it possible? If possible, where can i download that software for free?
a common digital camera telephone is approximately 2 megapixels on an identical time as a cybershot could be even 3.2megapixels, such because of the fact the sony ericsson k800. i realised that the main considerable distinction is the image readability extremely for video and for Video calling.
Q: I have a Samsung J700 Orange Mobile!!!
Mobile Phone Model? Its SGH-J700 or if u r talking abt Lock code, then it must be 12345 or 0000 by default. Regards.
Q: How much can a mobile phone be damaged if it falls? how much does it affect the internal antennaspeakersblah blah blah and all the else?
it completely depends on what phone you have. certain phones are actualy designed to stand up against dropping your phone and other damages. on the other hand, some phones are so fragile that dropping it from high enough at the right angle could destroy the screen or the whole phone.
Q: Do T-Mobile prepaid phones still get to use the free T-mobile to T-mobile minutes or is it a different kind of service?
It's a different service, if you have prepay you use minutes every time you use your phone
Q: i bought an unlocked t mobile sidekick lx 2009 but i have att with a data plan, i heard you cant use picture messaging and internet on it because its unlocked. but i also heard theres a way to get around it by setting it up yourself and changing the settings or something, does anyone know how to do this on this particular phone and what are the settings? thank you!
i suggest you try this site. Drphone offers mobile phone repair and unlock service, especially excels in iPhone repair and unlocking. Drphone sells all kinds of mobile phones and accessories as well.
Q: I was wondering if you also could use a japanese mobile phone outside Japan? And I mean that someone from Japan comes in Europe and wants to call his family in Japan or something. Would it be possible to call with his mobile phone?Another thing:I got the fact about Japanese people sending each other emails rather than sms cuz it wouldn't fit with the kanji and such. But now I was wondering, what if they have like a friend from England who isn't able to send or receive email with his phone? Can the japanese guy that choose to sms him? I mean with the kanji it wouldn't matter because they'll have to communicate in English. Just wondering if the japanese people still use the sms function. Also if they send someone an email with their phone, is that person than able to see that email on his mobile phone AND on the computer? Or is the email address someone has on his phone completely different than the email address he had on his computer? So many questions ^^ Please give me loads of answers :)Thanks!
Yeah she is breaking up with you sorry!:(
Q: can anyone tell me websites for cellular / mobile phone companies in Taipei. I will be travelling to taipei next week will need a pre-paid GSM mobile phone connection
7-11 shops sell cards for it. cell phone shops are everywhere in Taibei.
Q: Hey, I'm having a problem with my new cell phone. I just got it a few days ago, it's a Virgin Mobile TNT model, also known as Kyocera Adreno S2400. The screen has gone black. The battery is fully charged, and the phone actually seems to still be on, since it's making sounds upon opening and closing. Hitting/holding the end button to turn it on or off produces no response. So basically right now, rather than having a cell phone I have a little box that makes noises when I open and close it. I've tried the Virgin Mobile website, but they don't really have a troubleshooting section. Does anyone know what the problem could be, and how I could fix it?
I also have the TNT, and actually had the exact same thing happen a couple weeks ago. I decided to hold the power button in for a few seconds so it would shut off (yes, I know it's hard to tell because the screen is black). I waited a few minutes and turned it back on and it was fine. If this doesn't work, try removing the battery and putting it back in. Also, I know through the Virgin Mobile website and most stores you buy the phones at, have a 30 day guarantee, so if all else fails, return the phone.
Q: I would like to get my mom a prepaid cell phone for emergencies. I have an old Boost mobile phone, does anyone know if that cab be re-activated? Or, should I just get a new phone from somebody else?
I'm pretty sure that you can re-activate it. However, you may likely have to bring it to a Boost Mobile outlet to have it re-flashed. This would load all the necessary settings onto the phone's flash memory to make work. The newer Boost Mobile phones actually use SIM cards, making the activation process easier. All the setting are stored on the chip of the SIM rather than the phone's hardware, similar to GSM phones.
