2. Heat-shielding Performance

In winter, the difference between indoor temperature and outdoor temperature can reach 40 DEG C and the air humidity is not influenced because of low thermal coefficient and great loss of blocked heat in the negative pressure cavity. Thanks to sealing negative gas in the hollow glass tile, the tile has high sound insulation property.
4. Light-transmitting and Non-perspective Performance
The light-transmission coefficient of white hollow glass tile is 75%-85%, which is similar to that of the general double-layered hollow glass. There are various decorative patterns on the surface of the glass tile, so the tile is non-perspective, indoor imperceptibility is realized, light rays are scattered around the room, discomfort caused by direct solar radiation is solved and the indoor luminous environment is improved.
5. Fireproof Performance
The fireproof level of hollow glass tile is GB class A. According to Japanese law, it is recognized that single-layer wall has the same performance as the second kind fire door and double-layer wall has one-hour fireproof performance.
6. High Compression Resistance and Shock Resistance

- Q: I thought that bathroom floor tiles were thicker than the bathroom wall tiles, is this right?
- Thickness has nothing to do wither they go on the walls or floors. Generally speaking floor tiles are thicker , but not always.. There are several factors in determining if a tile can be used on a flor or not. All tiles can be used on walls but not vise versa. Some determining factors that dictate if a tile can go on the floor is tinsel strength ( how much pressure it can take before breaking in a special test),scratch and slip resistance ..These are 3 of the main factors that tile must be rated in before they can be allowed to be used on a floor. - Q: Someone spilled a cleaning liquid on my marble tiles and the glaze came off. Does anyone know how to get the shine back to normal. Right now some parts look regular, and other parts are white. With a certain angle you can clearly see the glaze is taken off.

- Sorry , like T J said all tile needs grout. Dirt and debris will collect down in the groves if you dont.. Have you thought of a good laminate that has the tile look? Just need a skil saw or table saw (best ) to cut them. they can.Since it classified as a non wet area laminates will work fine in a 1/2 bath.. Less work putting them in too. - Toffy's okorder /... Basically, you'll need to get the tile very clean, paint in several coats and then seal it with a good urethane. You need to be cautious about floors that will consistently get wet which would cause you problems with the paint and urethane. Also, if you paint and seal your floor I would treat it more like a wood floor as far as cleaning is concerned since you're now just going to be cleaning a urethane surface. Lastly, can I offer some free advice? Once you start painting that floor there is no turning back. It would be almost impossible to remove the paint if you don't like the way it looks and you would probably just have to rip the flooor out or put another flooring over the top of it as Toffy mentioned. If I was thinking about doing this, I would get some similar tiles to what you have and just lay them on a piece of plywood in the garage and do a quick grout job. It doesn't have to be perfect. I would do some testing with paint and urethane to see how it looks and how well it will hold up to wear.
- Q: We are laying 18 x 18 porcelain tiles in our kitchen for an open house we‘re having in 6 days. We can‘t figure out when and how to tile under the refrigerator. Do we have to move the refrigerator into another room? Can we wait two days for the mortar and grout to set firm and move the refrigerator onto the newly installed tile so we can lay tile where refrigerator will go? If we do that, should we then wait 24 hours for that tile to set so we can move the refrigerator back into place?What is the best way to handle the installation? I would appreciate any thoughts on how this is most ideally done.
- If the kitchen is big enough move the fridge after you have found the center of the room, set the the quadrant with the fridge first using speed set or quick set for that area. then tile as much as you can without ruining your path for the fridge. after 3 hours mix just enough and grout only where the fridge will cover because that grout may turn a different shade than the rest of the room. next day finish setting your tile, next day grout the rest of the job, replace 1/4 round, and you have a finished product provided you layed the tile on an approved substrate, cut your jambs and mixed your setting materials properly.

- Are there no windows or doors in this room ? No other obstructions which affect the wall area ? In any case, it is impossible to determine how many tiles you will have to cut. It depends on where you start tiling, as well as the bits that you have to work around, like doors and windows, and so on. But, crucially, it is also important to know the height of the room. Work out a rough area and add, say, 15% for the ones you have to cut. So, if the room is h feet high, you will need 2 x (12h + 16h) = 2 x 28h = 56h square feet. Add 15% and you get 65h square feet (that is, 6.5h boxes of tiles). (But you can subtract the area of any doors, windows, etc.)

- Q: I‘m trying to re-tile two small bathrooms. One is ~20 sf. The other is ~35 sf. I already have the tile, don‘t want any special designs, and have normal rectangular shaped bathrooms with a toilet on one wall (i.e. very few weird cuts). There is already tile on the floors that will have to be taken up. How much should I expect to pay to get someone to install it?
- I don't know where your from and prices varies Tilers charge per square yard. find out with your measurements what the square yard is. be it.. 20 , 25 i don't know. then ring a tiler and ask him how much they charge per square yard. multiply their answer with your answer. that's your price. in Ireland it's 15 per s yard so...... (10 sy X 15 = 150) remember when measuring that you subtract the windows and doors as tilers should not include this in price. also count your bags of adhesive as tilers steal the left over stuff thats not needed. I know this because I am one.
- Q: I found answers about laying tile and a backer board over linoleum I didn‘t know if they would be the same. What would cause tile to crack if it‘s places directly on concrete?
- remove the vinyl tiles. There are great products that will help with loosening the tiles. should you decide to not remove the tiles this is what could happen. the tiles will move under the ceramic floor and cause cracks in the tiles. replacing the grout is easy not the tiles. if you start with a sound floor then you will have a ceramic floor that will last you for a good long time.
