Q: Standard Specification for jacket type pipe couplings for card sleeve couplings
Specification sheet, thick tube, B (water gas pipe), thin steel tube, A (wire pipe), metric, English, nominal, nominal diameter * wall thickness mm nominal
Q: How would i go about fixing my broken door lock for my civic? the door handle assembly itself pops out all the time although the door itself works. i can see that the back part of the lock where you insert the key on the inside has a plastic piece that is broken off, the door locks from the inside but i just want to know where i could get it fixed or if i can do it myself. and how would i fix the assembly from coming out every time i open my door?
There may be several reasons you were unable to resolder your joint. If there is water in the line dripping into the joint, You didn't clean the joint properly or you didn't use a flux. Depending on your soldering skills, you may find it easier to cut the old joint out and replace it with two couplings, a couple of pieces of 1/2 copper and a new elbow. Remember to clean the copper and use soldering flux or your joints will leak. If your soldering skills are in question then they do make compression fittings that slip over the 1/2 copper and tighten with a couple of wrenches. You still need two couplings, two short pieces of 1/2 copper and a new elbow. Check with the staff at Lowes or Home Depot for assistance if you not sure what to buy. Compression fittings are really easy to work with. Sorry but there really isn't a cement that will fix your problem properly
Q: ok- so if you smoke a whole lot of marijuana inside your house- i mean to a point where you smoked like 5 grams- can cops somehow detect it from the helicopters using their lil f*cking weed growing detectors- if you can detect weed growing then is it possible to detect if alot of weed has been smoked- this question has been in my mind for a while now
Taping it will not cure the problem. Find out what is defective and do a proper repair. Is taking a short cut worth risking brake failure?
Q: Or are you lobbying for a fire breathing dragon park in your neighborhood like I am?Since Winkie is just a baby I've been slapped with 4 law suits because all he wants to do is play with the dogs he doesn't mean to scorch them.
Test you hamster hearing, Whistle a real high pitch whistle, but not loud, at first Start soft.. then get a little louder You hamster should respond to a Medium low whistle, medium is ok. Watch you hamsters ears. They should respond by moving. If you hamster doesn't respond to the medium - high or higher, take him to a vet to check.
Q: Okay, so I recently found out that I'm moving back to the US from south east Asia. My BFFaeaeaeae lives there and it's terrible being away from her! We see each other ever Christmas and Summer and practicality live at each other's houses when I'm home. She always asks when I'm moving back but since i never dreamed that it would happen before college, I've always told her that it's not going to happen. But,Now it is going to happen and I need a FUN way to surprise her with the information! I thought about writing her a letter and then sending it so that when she opens it she's surprised. I'm sure there's an even crazier way to break the news! So, i need ideas! Thanks!!!D
A DOZEN QUESTIONS?? Do you want us to do your homework? Read it yourself, ask your teacher if you have questions. Pay attention in class instead of thinking about a party, TV show or whatever! That's how you LEARN! You won't learn ANYTHING if someone else does your homework!
Q: Even though his face looked more messed up GSP was clearly outstriking Shields for at least 3 or 4 of the 5 rounds and was never in danger of losing. After 4 rounds of futility why didn't Shields or his corner try a different gameplan? Would have made for a much more entertaining fight.
I suggest first searching on the internet about contact lenses in lab. You will find different information there. There should be two sides to this policy. One should be whether contact lenses actually provide an additional layer of protection compared to someone without contacts. The other is whether a contact lens, once contaminated, will extend the contamination to a longer time than use of the chemical. These are both good points, but may not be something within your control, except to change lenses after lab. You might wish to read what you may find on the internet and then talk to the department chair. The last point I wish to make and I have no financial interest in, is the wearing of contact lenses. My wife had an eye exam and questioned whether her prescription may have changed. The optometrist questioned whether she should have lasik eye surgery. The point he was making was that lasik eye surgery had become safer than wearing contact lenses. The putting in and taking out contacts subjects you to eye infections and other injuries. He argued that in the long run, lasik was a wiser choice. I cannot recommend what you should do, but perhaps you should also looking into alternatives as well.
Q: Think of how much air the drivers can get if they hit a speed bump at 200MPH. It would be a challenge for the driver to make all of the yellow lights.
If you have a pipe cutter, you can remove the section, that is, if you can live without that half-inch. If you're replacing it with another compression fitting, you would do well to place it on a section of the pipe that isn't marred up or corroded. Personally, I can't stand the compression fittings. I'd rather sweat the pipe and fixtures in place. You might consider that. It's well worth it, if you do minor plumbing like this, to spent the few bucks and get a pipe cutter, it gives a smooth cut and can fit in some really tight places.
Q: For a wildland fire fighting test we have to drag a fire hose up a hill. Just wondering how much would one weigh with water in it so I can train
If the pipe or fitting is grey plastic with a silver metal band at the joint, then you are going to need either the special tool necessary to make the connections and the proper pipe and fittings, or see what is available in a compression type fitting that will adapt to the plastic and a more common type of material. If you could identify the kind of pipe that it is, I could be of more assistance to you.
Q: How to use the clamp type pipe joint?
The clamping sleeve type straight through joint has clamps at both ends, and it is worn at the end of the pipe which needs to be connected, and then it is clamped and connected with the nut,
Q: I have a large collection of LPs, many of which are out of print. I'm not a rare LP collector as such but enjoy the music very much and don't want to lose the music I've amassed. What are some opinions as to the risk(s)/benefits of recording these onto CD-R and giving the bulk of this space hogging vinyl over to the flea market?
Sorry, but we cannot tell you much about what will happen because there is not much information. The suitability of the 11/2 pipe will depend on how much flow you desire and how much pressure is available in the 3 Pipe at the point of connection. Also the 2 hp pump data does not really reflect the flow and pressure capability of the pump. Where (which floor) do you intend to put the pump and where is the 1 1/2 connection ? A 1 1/2 pipe will handle about 40 gpm at a reasonable velocity and with pressure loss of about 3 psi per 100 equivalent feet. Equivalent feet takes into account the additional pressure loss Thur fittings. Approx. small water pump horsepower gpm x psi / 5500. Pump head is commonly expressed in feet (of water column). To get the equivalent water pressure (psi) divide feet by 2.31
