Q: Im doing a research paper on frame and body materials used for making aircraft(e.gfighters, ultralights, pasenger/cargo, human powered)i need some good academic sources that i can use as references and also academic sources that provide charts/figures/pictures,thanksBest answer gets 10 points
I was at IN-n-out (a burger fast food place) with a bunch of friends, including my crush, he was sitting next to me but a table over but we were still closeI was trying so hard to not be messy while i ate and clean and stuff but of course a huge piece of lettuce covered in there secret sauce feel on my pantsI tried to act casual and flicked offIT LANDED ON HIMMM!!! Q: Is it possible to melt metals like bronze and copper by digging a hole, placing a pipe in at an angle and attaching a blower and adding coal or charcoal to it? I have been wanting to cast scrap metals: Mostly copper, bronze/brass, aluminum, and lead that I have left over from projectsI don't have the time to build a kiln with refractory so I was wondering if this would workI could also dig in my current burn pit. Will this work?Is it safe? Will it get hot enough to melt bass and copper?Any suggestions? Thanks!
I use two propane torches with oxygen assistYou will need a good crucibleI can and do melt bronze for lost wax sculpturesIt is dangerous as the molten bronze has no sympathy for flesh and will destroy anything that it comes in contact withPlease be careful.
Q: I have a cast iron crucible, and a MAPP gas torchI can get copper/zinc/brass/aluminum to melt but can I get the metal hot enough without a furnace to melt the metal? If not what cheap small additions would I need? I live in an appartment with a ground floor patio so no room to store anything big, or even mediumI am only trying to cast small shapes(1 inch or so)I can sometimes use a portable forge to heat the metal, would that work? Also what fluxes for the different metals would I need?
Best cheapest thing you can do is try and seal the windows with plastic, making like a storm window to prevent air flow and trapping some air for insulationNext would be to add some attic insulationDon't know how much you want to do since you rent.
Q: Whats the recipie for the things u wrap egg rolls in?
The things you wrap egg rolls in are won ton skinsYou don't want or need to know a recipe on how to make themJust go to an Asian market and buy themSome 35 years ago, I had a neighbor who was born and raised in JapanShe had married an American, moved to this country, and adapted our customsI got to know her pretty wellWhen she found out that I liked Chinese/Japanese food, she was elatedHer husband didn't like gk foodOne day when I came home from work, she was waiting for me with a bowl wrapped in aluminum foilI no more than got out of the car and she wanted me to try a Japanese tacoShe pulled the foil wrap off the bowl and held it out to meI tried one and it was DE-FREAKING_LICIOUSShe explained it was an adaption of her upbringing and the foods she had tasted here in the USAIt was ground beef and vegs wrapped in a won ton skin and deep friedI have never had anything like it before or since that dayNaturally, she had several dipping sauces to go along with the tacos She had hoisin, tempura, the Japanese equivalent to wasabi, and a Mexican salsa frescaWe sat on my front lawn and just enjoyed the bowlWhen I asked her what a won ton skin is, she said you don't want to knowNo, it's not made of bat's ears and pig snoutIt's made of rice flour and a bunch of ingredients that aren't available here in the StatesEven if you knew the recipe, you couldn't make it because you can't get the ingredientsJust buy won ton skins, and forget about it(Kim! This answer's for youYou're the best friend and cook I've ever known!)
Q: The use of the initial vinegar and salt solution was to ensure the aluminum surface was clean and free from oxidesThis left elemental aluminum free to reactWhich ions reacted with aluminum metal? a.Ammonium, sodium, and calcium ions b.Lead (II), silver(I), and copper (II) ions c.Silver(I) and copper (II) ions d.Carbonate and hydroxide ions e.Sodium and calcium ions
Choice b is the best choice as aluminum is more active than these three metals, so it should donate electrons to the ions and convert them to metal atoms.
Q: Suppose that a square sheet of aluminum is placed in the hot sunIt begins to expand very slowly so that its diagonal is increasing at the rate of 1 millimeter per minuteAt the moment that the diagonal is 100 millimeters, at what rate is the area increasing? Then a similar question I'm stuck on, it's pretty much the same, but with a triangleIn the heat of the sun, a sheet of aluminum in the shape of an equilateral triangle is expanding so that its side length increases by 1 millimeter per hourWhen the side length is 100 millimeters, how is the area increasing? The way I tried to solve them, seems totally wrongAny suggestions?

Q: I know about the cardboard tube filled with hay but my rabbit seems to grab it with its teeth and throw it and just sits there does that mean he likes it? and are there and toys i can Make and insructions on hot to make it? thanksbye
The cardboard tubes are a good start, here are a few other things you can get that are quite cheap or nearly freeA cleaned aluminum soda can with the pull tab removedThey pick it up, toss it, push it around, etcThe hard plastic cat toy balls, especially with the bells inside but not the flimsy ones where the bells can be easily dislodgedAgain, they'll toss them, carry them, push them aroundA small length of plastic or nylon chain that can be picked up at Home Depot, Lowes, etcCut the chain so that it hangs down level with the rabbits' headThey will chew on it, knock it around, stand up to chew on the upper links, etcAnd of course, don't forget a wood chew stick to them to chew on and keep their teeth in proper orderSome people use natural woods approved for bunny use but I like to pick up the 2x2 size wood at Home Depot and cut it into about a six inch lengthNot only will they chew on it and keep their teeth sharp and trimmed, they'll also pick it up and carry it or toss it aroundHave fun with your bunny! Q: How is the multilayer-stacked aluminum waterproof roll?
Generally speaking, stacked SBS waterproof roll is better at anti moisture than single-layered one. PE film is usually used in the first layer instead of aluminum foil for it only functions to reflect and insulate heat. It is often put in the second layer. One-sided aluminum foil is one of the aluminum Mylar, also called composite aluminum-plastics tape. It is made of soft rolled aluminum foil and polyester film which compounded on the gravure under dry conditions. Cut them into two, one side is aluminum foil that is insulating, the other one is Mylar that is conductive.
Q: Hi i would like to know if i should buy the aluminum a arms for my firestorm or just the stock plastic ones because i keep breaking the plastic ones but im afraid the aluminum ones are going to bend easily
there is couple diffrent problems with aluminum.. something has to give. so eather your going to break something else, or your going to tweak a very expesive a-arm.. the last aposter you had said he like the alum... thats great, the reason why it handles better is couse its heavy, thus putting more weight to the ground... there is another option you may be over looking. it is a well known company that sell parts for almost every rc car ever built.except large scale..damn them!) it is a lighter part. more durable.and only a few dollors more then plastic. and best of all, they gaurantee all there suspension arms for life.. not kidding. they also come in white wich can be dyed a costom color to mach your rig, or the basic black.the company is RPM. alot of hobby shops stock there parts.. in my opinion.. this is the way to go
