- I am a former chef and saw someone on the FoodNetwork do that and did it myself and it does work, the others are not trained chefs, and like Maureen K said make sure it is microwave safe, and cook them no higher than 300 d F, the plastic wrap acts like a steaming device, season the ribs, warp in the plastic wrap, and them the foil, 30-40 minutes at 300 is fine, then take thme out and BBQ them on the grill, add your sauce in the last 10-15 minute to prevent burning.
