- Q: talking in terms of particle inside the aluminium!why aluminium is a good conductor?when electron charge moving within aluminium wirecan anyone explain to me why?is it because aluminum wire is hard to vibarte so causing the electron can move freely to end end of wire that connected to a battery

- Q: What's the difference between stainless steel, cast iron, non-stick, aluminum, hard-anodized productsAre they used in different types of cooking or something?? cheers
- You need to look at the entire cycle of your process to determine efficiencyIt takes massive amounts of electricity to make aluminium - OK you are using recycle but energy is used to collect itThe cans are painted and lacquered - that will inhibit reactivity - how will you clean them up? It takes massive amounts of electricity to make sodium hydroxide - any environmental imact needs to take that into accountYou can buy 50lbs of NaOH for $35 - how much electricity can you buy for $35? In other words, what are the relative economics of buying the sodium hydroxide and aluminium scrap vs the cost of electricity to make the same amount of hydrogen? When you electrolise water you also get oxygen as a by-productThat too has valueAt the end of your process you will have large amounts of waste sodium aluminate solution - does it have commercial value? No? How will you dispose of it? Heavily contaminated with caustic soda that is a hazardous waste - disposal is ?$?$?$?$!
- Q: Anyone have a good recipe for a whole baked chicken?I've tryed some recipes I found online, and I've tryed my own, and all of them are just sortameh.Something simple would be great. Also any tips on keeping the breast meat moist would be awesome. The dark meat is always so juicy and full of flavor, but I always seem to have trouble keeping the white meat from drying out and retaining flavor.I could be overcooking it b/c I'm a bit paranoid about undercooked chicken, but I know last time, I did not but the breast meat was still pretty dry and flavorless.
- well i don't know where you live but 2x4's for rafters is pretty small/undersizedand when you put them 24 on center is a very weak roof2x6's 16 on center is like minimum, 2x8's at least for 24 on centeri hope you just typo'ed or live where it never snows! also you don't insulate the rafters, you put the insulation in between the ceiling joists, roofs need air circulation under them.
- Q: I have a 4.6 pound bottom round roast (beef)How do I cook it? What temperature and how long in the oven? We like it medium rare.
- i understand the suitable answer to this question! Squeeze some lemon juice on the apple, this has nutrition c that's an anti-oxidant and could inhibit the enzyme that reasons browning.
- Q: I need to split a recipe in half, and that should fill a 4.5 inch by 9 inch pan, but I only have a 9 inch by 9 inch panI want to put something in the 9x9 pan to split it in half and put the mix in one sideWhat should I use? Cardoard? Aluminum Foil?
- there is a pool slide
- Q: I mean, I have to keep making a new hat at 6:20 everyday, and it's starting to get expensive.
- I've tried both, but the dollar-store brand always ends up rolling out unevenly, leaving me with those long, pointless strips of wasted aluminum, so I've made the decision to live large.
- Q: I have a project I'm working on that needs a frame to be welded, but I'm not sure how much it'll cost/how to go about hiring somebody to do that? I have at this stage a set of drawings, measurements, etcfor somebody to go off of, but I'm not sure how much it's going to cost to get somebody to bring that to fruition for meDo welders normally charge by the hour, or can I just pay once for the entire piece to be finished and I can just pick it up whenever? I also don't know what to expect as far as rates themselves and negotiating a priceThe whole thing is to be made of aluminum square pipe, has a roughly boxy shape that's got maybe 20 joints or so, total, and is about seventy inches long for referenceI'm not sure how much of that information is relevant because I have no experience in this sort of thing, but I maybe it'll help get a better idea maybe it won'tThanks
- With a complex piece like that there is no normallyIt's aluminium welding so that's something most professional welders cannot doIt has a lot of joints, some of which may be awkward to accessUnless all of the parts have been accurately designed and cut then it's inevitable that some pieces may need trimming if too long or even re-making if they're too short or cut at the wrong angleThe wall thickness makes a difference to how long the welding will take and the materials (gas and wire) costsCosts also depend upon whether every seam needs a continuous weld or just spot/plug weldsLast, but not least, in a by no means exhaustive list, is where on this planet you're located as labour rates vary as do the currencies you'd need a quote inIf the plan is from CAD software and then input into CNC machinery to accurately cut all parts then you may be able to get a price for the whole jobIf not then there may be additional unplanned work in which case the job will be charged by the hour, typically in half hourly incrementsAgain, I can't give you any typical labour rates as I've no idea where you areTo summarise, you'll only find out by taking your project to a few specialist engineering/metal fabricators able to weld aluminium and then obtaining quotationsIf they know you're shopping around then they're unlikely to muck around with dishonest pricing, but you can also try to push for a better price depending upon your negotiating skills.
- Q: I've come up with what is probably the greatest business idea in the history of the universeIt's well known that people can go for weeks without food, but only a short time without waterI've solved this problem - introducing (drum roll, please): DEHYDRATED WATERThese are small, aluminum foil packages that easily fit inside a backpack, and contain delicious dehydrated spring waterWhen needed, reconstitute by adding water and instantly you've got a source of hydrationObviously, this is going to be a big hit with hikers and campers, and I'm expecting large orders from the US militaryAnd I wouldn't be surprised if a Nobel Prize for Inventing Stuff is coming my way! If anyone would like to invest in my fledgling company, please let me know AS SOON AS POSSIBLEDon't let this once in a lifetime opportunity pass you by!!
- Sorry, but dehydrated water already existsNo one has figured out why, since it's a total scamBut amazon allows it to be sold, so what the heck.
