- Normally the modeling light is attached very near to the strobe tube. The reason for the light is to provide a continuous light source so the photographer can see if there are any unwanted reflections in eye glasses or window glass. I would guess there is some way to mount the modeling light to the strobe head. You need to place the modeling light in a manner that mimics the direction of light the strobe will create.

- Go check your relay for your headlights, remove and test with a 9volt battery if you have one laying around, it should make a click sound. Look at the bottom of he relay and you'll see numbers, put the 9volt battery on numbers 85 and 86. If you get a click out of it, bam you should be money. Now you might have a computer issue or there is a ground wire loose or a power wire that is touching ground somewhere or haha sorry it could be lots of things, you are having to many amps on that circuit and it pops a internal virtual fuse in the computer which later it will reset itself, or your stalk switch is messed up.
