- dont use poly pipe for mainline. it will leak on you. soon and it sucks really i have seen what happens. i repair sprinkler systems for aliving. use a 1in mainline PVC pipe and lateral lines then use 1.5 inch poly pipe for the heads. no more than 2 per poly pipe. dont listen to those online designs. a professionally installed system will not include poly pipe for mainline. it just will not work properly. edit you didnt say main line or lateral line you just said poly and supply line. supply line could be your houses water line. either way the 1in and 3/4 in poly lines are crap. seen it fail. many times. just trying to help you out. for residential the best way to do it is with a 1in main line and lateral lines and use 1/2 in poly pipe no more than 2 heads to three heads max per poly line. average 5-6 rotors per zone and 8 misters per zone. maybe 10 at most.

So this is what happend, after reading on how unsafe it was to pierce your lip with a safety pin, I didn't know so I just gone right on ahead and did it, I didn't brush my teeth but I washed my hands, I used rubbing alcohol to clean the safety pin and my lip ring, Okay I used two types of safety pins becuase one was smaller and it didn't fit so I put in bigger one (cleaned with alcohol) in the same hole, it went in and then I put in the lip ring, it was like a loop type lip ring, I put it in and it bled alittle becuase it seemed the loop didn't really fit in but it gone in, I cleaned it afterwards with alchole and proxide. Now I took along time to do it becuase I was nervous. So I checked it was safe.. it wasn't, I took it off asap, I garged proxide and cleaned both sides with alchole, it feels like alittle bubble inside my lip, it looks a bit clean though.. Please don't call me ignorant and help.

- To properly cut and re-thread steel pipe you need a pipe cutter, pipe threader, and pipe deburrernone of which are cheap. If you know how long a piece you need, have the supply house or home center cut and thread the piece(s) for you. I think Lowes does this for little or no extra cost. If you have a lot of threading to do, try renting the cutter, threader, and de-burrer, plus a pipe vise. [You will also need cutting oil for the threading process.] You then use couplings, not unions, to rejoin the pieces. [Unions are used to join two pipes when you cannot turn one of the pipes because it is already in place.] Use standard forged couplings, not the cheap smooth merchant couplings which often come with pipe lengths. Be sure to use high quality pipe dope to join the pipe/fittings. It comes in tape or brush on types, depending on your preference, the type of pipe, and what the pipe will carry [water, gas, etc.]
