- Q: I am trying to remove a 'generic' type of dual sink vanity installed when the home was built. I see no screws securing it to the wall. Could it just be sitting there, caulked in place? I was hoping to keep it intact to use as a workbench, but if I have to start breaking it up, that's okay too :)

- I am in the cleaning business and here is our secret! Try this cleaning cloth. You have to buy in packages of 5 but they are only like $3 bucks a piece. I have ordered them and use them on everything, especially cleaning windows and clean mirrors. They are made out of tiny fibers. They are guaranteed not to scratch and all you do is rinse the cloth under water, wring it out and wipe ANY surface with no streaks or scratch. Use em over and over. I have not thrown one away yet! I even waxed my car with it! I am sold on this ...I encourage you to try it out.

- If you just want a vanity, glue, or nail the drawers shut, remove the insides, cut a hole for the pipes, and for the sink. From there it's the same as any counter top. If you want the drawers to work it's not a DIY, unless you have plenty of carpentry skills. Whatever, finish with 2-3 coats of water-based-poly to seal. Oh, great idea! They're really classy!
