Q: Hi all, I currently have a moen faucet set 3 piece set model 4570 in my bathroom.. My daughter being fearfull that she didn't want the faucet to drip has now turned the cold lever all the way back until now the handle rotates without shuting the water off. I believe I have to replace the stem inside the handle but I can't remove it off the base of the sink. I can't loosen the locking nut underneath the sink either (even with trying to use basin wrench).. I saw the installation instructions online and from the diagram it shows I can acutally remove the hub from the top by holding the handle and twisting the hub if the opposite direction, but this thing won't bulge. what should I do?: why only warm water comes out of the hot side when on full

Q: Does it take any special plumber tools? I am very mechanically inclined but I know that in some plumbing jobs it takes special tools. I want to changing a basic 4 bathroom vanity faucet. Q: hey guys, im replacing a kitchen faucet for my mom right now, and Its not one of the ones where it scres in on the two side panels, it has a long threaded neck that attatches to the sink basin, how would I take this out, I tried spinning the faucet to just unscrew the threading but it pivots...: Faucets that I'm familiar with sit on top of the sink and are bolted down below the sink. You have to loosen nuts under the sink from the threaded water supply lines on the bottom of the faucet unit, then lift the entire unit out from the sink. That leaves holes in the sink. Threaded water supply lines on the bottom of the faucet fit through those holes and water lines from your house's water supply are attached to those. But the handles, neck, the whole shooting match is one unit.
