Q:I need to buy an LCD monitor and need some advice about which ones to consider. I need it mostly for work: internet, word documents, Excel and will be using it at least eight hours a day.I wear bifocals. This means I need to be able to look down, into the monitor to accommodate the low reading area of my glasses or I get stiff necks. The resolution for print should be really, really clear. I am willing to spend more than the average amount to get something right.
You look to understand what you're doing. First, you're making use of an excellent mail order with newegg, whom I do all my enterprise with besides. next, I quite have bought probable a half dozen liquid crystal exhibit video exhibit instruments in the process the final 18 months in the 17-19 inc length. My rule of thumb with newegg lists is that I scroll up the checklist till i'm getting to the 1st NEC, then I start to look heavily at what's provided. i admire Viewsonic and NEC, and as long as you're no longer making use of them for hardcore speedy shifting video games you're gonna be advantageous. the image high quality would be techniques-blowing on your generic purpose, that's pictures. I quite have under no circumstances had a ineffective pixel in my orders (arms crossed) and that i desire to no longer. reliable success.
Q:Hello Yahoo Answerers,I would like to get a LCD Monitor that doubles as a TVor a LCD TV that doubles as a monitor. I've decided that I definitely want a Samsung 22 Widescreen LCDTV or Monitor, but I'm unsure if the benefits of a Samsung TV really outweigh the cheaper price of a Samsung monitor.Which do you think I should go for? A TV with a PC input or a Monitor with a TV input? And is it really worth a few hundred dollars more to get the TV for the remote and built in speakers? Can anyone share their experience with this? Thanks in advance!
if the tv has digital then it would be best to gofor that. if not i would still go for the tv because its a tv and that what u would use it most for . also u can conect lots of different things to the tv such a vhs recorder and so on and so on so go for the tv if you have the money
Q:hello frndsi am going to buy tft (lcd) pc 18 .5 INCH monitor.will u suggest which will be better acer or samsung.or any other (lcd) monitor within the reasonable or economical price.thx for ur suggestion
Any monitor with that says full 1080p HD will be great. However, if you think of it acer is a budget pc brand. Samsung is a tv maker that makes great hd TV'S. In my opinion i would go with the tv brandbecausee they make qualities tv's that are like 50 inches, so i'm sure they make great 18 inch computer screens. Acer on the other hand is a budget pc brand, based on brand alone i think samsung would be much better. However it is all about the 1080p High Definition. Go for a good economical price, no more than 300 for sure. For 18 inches i would say it should be about 100-200. Give me a shout if you have any questions.
Q:I am trying to get a laptop monitor that I salvaged to connect to a VGA cable. I can’t find the circuit or the plans to do this on the internet. I am trying wire the pins form the laptop monitor to a VGA connector peace. Male or female doesn’t matter. I know it’s possible but would like your help.
The picture in your link is very interesting, but I question its validity as it looks very posed (everything is laid out cleanly, spaced just so on the table, etc.) and anything can be created on a computer to make a picture look real. Also close examination of the bread-board shows the use of a couple of logic computer chips and variable resistors, which would make some sense as you would need some electronic circuitry to adjust and convert the signals correctly from the computer video output to work with the LCD display in use. I would think, though, that it would require more circuitry than displayed. I would have to see it in person to fully believe it. I'm sure it would be possible to do, but each LCD display may be different and you would need to know basic electronic configurations for video output, conversion LCD wiring configurations to create your own for the one you have. If it has been done, I'd think someone would have the plans somewhere on the internet to show that it can be done and that they did it to take credit for it and show off. Honestly though, unless you have no life and a lot of time on your hands, I don't think it would be that worth it. Time better spent getting a job if you don't have one, helping others that may need help, getting some exercise, enjoying life with friends or girlfriend/wife/kids etc. Best of luck.
Q:I was recently gifted a 19 LCD monitor that I now have set up next to my old 19 CRT. When displaying dark colors, there is a noticeable glow coming from the screen that is not a problem with the CRT. This is especially visible when using the blank screen saver (the CRT appears to be off while the LCD is still filling the room with light). Is there any way I can reduce the glowing?
For you question on twin or quad, get Quad. i offered a working laptop or pc a pair of 12 months in the past and have been given twin middle because of the fact i presumed quad would not be mandatory for some years. properly, i could desire to get a quad because of the fact my processor won't be able to maintain up, inspite of a few browser video games. make certain you get a minimum of two.8ghz+ for CPU velocity. a number of video games appropriate now are wanting 2.4-2.6 minimum. could desire to besides be slightly previous to the activity.
Q:i have got 19 samsung lcd monitor to my computer. all of sudden background has changed to pink color. it showing dark pink color . how will i get normal mode. i tried all setting options.please help me.
Were the setting options you tried related to your computer Desktop display properties? Or it could be a bad or loose cable/cord problem, so see if the cables/cords connecting your monitor are secure and connected. Or turn off the monitor and computer, unplug the monitor, remove and reconnect the monitor to you computer, and see if the problem is fixed. Try the monitor on a another computer if you can to see if that fixes the problem. If you use the same cable/cord, and the monitor is pink, could be a bad cord. If a different cord used, and still pink, could be a monitor problem (just by elimination here).
Q:Do I need a glass filter for LCD monitor to protect eyes?
The main reasons for putting a filter on an LCD monitor are to reduce glare on the screen, and to protect the screen from damage in industrial environments. I don't think the filter would affect your eyes at all, except by dimming the monitor slightly. You can adjust the brightness of all new monitors, so a filter is probably not needed unless you are bothered by glare on the screen.
Q:I have been living in China for five years and in that five years I have acquired MANY stuff cuz of the massive price difference between China and Europe. I have two 28 inch Full HD (1920x1200) TFT LCD monitors, brand and model is: Hannsg HZ281 which I would like to transport to Europe with air cargo. I only have the original packageing for one which is new but for the other I have no packageing. The original packageing onthe new one is very sturdy btw, on the outside there is a hard cardboard box and the screen is fixed in the middle with this white foamy and hard thing (sorry I dont know the name in english) but I think polyurethane or something like that my main concern is that I dont think the cargo area will be heated cuz there will be no passangers there so temps will get below freezing I assume. Is that harmful to my screens? Any advice to how to wrap or package the new one better if needed? Any advice on how to package the old one for which I have not the original box? Thank you.
I don't think it'll be a problem. Monitors are shipped all over the world in air cargo all the time. I've even had LCD monitors left in my car overnight with temps down to -17 degrees Fahrenheit where I live, so I think you're fairly safe about the temps. As for packaging, the original packaging for the one should be good enough, for the other make sure that there's plenty of cushioned padding around it and a few inches between it and the box sides to keep it safe. Double boxing it (box within another padded box) will provide the safest packaging.
Q:LCD doesn't have that brightness and contrast button, and the computer panel doesn't have that brightness bar
Can the monitor be without an adjustment button? Impossible. Can't you find it? It's usually in the menu.
Q:I am looking at buying a LCD flat-panel HDTV monitor that I plan on using as both a tv and computer monitor. I have been looking at a 23 inch widescreen Philips monitor (23PF5320), however I am worried the resolution (1366x768) is not high enough to be used as a computer monitor. Will my desktop look normal or will everything appear warped and larger than normal because of this resolution? Thanks in advance for any responses.
typical LCD use 1280 x1024. Most Wide screen LCDs use 1440 x 900 PC mode and 1152 x 870 in MAC mode. So it may be a little low on the verticle resolution. Most users like 1024 x 768, so the resolution should be fine. I hear many people complain that when the LCD monitors are set to thier native resolution that the icon and fonts are too small.
