I think carpet because it absorbs sounds. Tile sounds will bounce off of and make it noisier. I would have tile in the entrance way, bathrooms and staff eating area and carpet through the rest of the library.

It is his rug now. But it is possible that all the scent is not gone, although that is not the reason I would think he is taking it. If there was scent present, I would expect him to urinate there again, just to mark the spot again. Washing the rug in a regular cycle with a cup of white vinegar, followed by a regular wash will remove all scent. Looks like you may have to get another area rug, and let him have what he now considers his.

I don't know that they are but you ought to call the co. and ask. You know how different companies are about their vacumns. This could be totally the truth. Call and find out. If you find out from the co. then it won't be heresay and you will know for a fact.

Freeze it and use a butter knife, can use ice or buy a can of gum remover.

a scrub brush and dish liquid but to rent a carpet cleaner is only $21 at walmart.

Hi, Finding a ready made rug of that size is a bit difficult. You may have to specially order it, which is not all that difficult/expensive. If you go for a carpet, then it has to be installed.

Q:I have a espresso colored round table (i think its about 4' or 5' diameter) and it also incleds a leaf to extend the table into an oval shape. I am trying to decide what kind of rug i should get for underneath the table (there is ceramic tile in this area). Its going into the formal living and dining room in the house which is the first you room you enter when you come into the house. The entire room is about 13' wide by 22' long. There will also be a buffet by the table taking off about 2' or so from the width.
