Put a little nail polish remover if its stil wet....don rub it...jus dab it! Then let that dry! Then go buy...Barbasol shaving cream! Then spray it on the stain....and rubb it in with your finger tips. Then rub the area dry with a paper towel! Works like a charm!

Q:what does it really matter? does it has to have a high ph level to clean carpet?

Hi Carpet has to sit at a PH of 7.5, which is neutral. If you use a carpet spotter with a high PH you will slowly lift the PH of the carpet and that can cause the carpet to turn brown or black. If you use a product with a low PH you can cause a carpet to turn yellow or red. This is the reason pet urine stain (high PH) go yellow and vinegar (low PH) is used to bring the PH of the carpet back to neutral. Q:i've asked this question 3 times before, but it hasn't worked :(Red is booked in for a trace/blanket clip in a couple of days, and i was wondering if i would need to rug her up a little bit more? she is a thoroughbred chestnut (someone told me that chestnuts have thinner skin??) and is in a 100g fill w/ a neck rug atm....the coldest it has been lately would be about 10/11 degrees c....the next rug we have is a 250g fill with neck rug, so it's quite a step up...Um... yeah... would i need to start putting that on, or do you think she will be O.K??

to be completley honest it is not the best time to clip a horse , the best time is october-november the reason im saying this is that the clip will have grown back by september as winter hair starts to grow but if you do it october then it should last until may the following year. But anyways to answer your question i would go woth the lighter rug during the day if its warmer and maybe if it is a cold night but the other heavy neckrug on or a simple sweatsheet under the light sheet. what im saying is that the light non neck rug is fine unless it goes below 8 degrees

Q:We are getting the carpet throughout the house redone. We had planned on a high quality laminate, but apparently our floors slope too much for that. Now we have to go with carpet. I fear a berber throughout will look too industrial, not homey enough. My husband feels like flush style looks like apartments he had in the 70s. The carpet salesman is recommending the same carpet in the whole 3 floor house. We have spill-prone kids, but no pets. any recommendations? we want it to look nice, but don't really know where to go from here.

A plush or a textured carpet ( I like textured since its hard to see footprints and vacuum marks) Either of those work well to give you a warm homey feeling. As far as the kids and spilling , I suggest a pad that won t allow moisture to go through . These are commonly call pet proof pads. Not allowing the moisture to seep all the way down to the wood subfloor, you prevent possible mold and its easier to get any liquids back though the carpet and this prevents restaining for from wicking.
