1 Can your pumps mount Eff.1 motors
Currently, only on request though this will shortly be a CNBM standard.
2 Are your pumps protected against dry running?
No, unprotected centrifugal pumps are not generally designed for dry running. It is important to give us or your dealer as much information as possible about the system in which the pump is used. Inlet pressure, the type of liquid to be pumped, together with relative density, viscosity and temperature, for example, are required in order to allow CNBM to recommend the right pump with the right gaskets for a long operating lifetime.
3 How can I get trained on CNBM products?

- Q:i have the power max xp652 water pump, 2 inch inlet and outlet, 6.5 horsepower, and says it can reach 100 psi. now i bought the pump so i can use it for my mobile detailing business, the problem is im barely getting 40 psi out the end and its not very much water to wash a car with. Im using a two inch suction hose to get it in, then right after the outlet i reduced it down to 3/4 inch into a 50 ft. garden hose. this only got me 40 psi and the nozzle was basically just spitting it out, so i tried using 50 ft. of 1/4 inch pressure washer hose and it didnt change anything still 40 psi. so please if there is any way i can up the psi, please tell me any ideas are good. i dont know if its just because i reduced it down too quick or if my suction hose is too big. someone who is into hydraulics please help.
- I don't know anything about the xp652 , but if this pump goes in a well you also need a pressure tank and then a preassure switch , the pump starts it you the get a tank , if your tank has a bladder it will probably be preset at 30 psi but thats not where you get your pressure the switch has two little screws one will set how hard she blasts ( thats where your pump comes in) the other one sets how low your pressure gets before the pump turns on again , But if the xp652 is an outside system , ( outside of your regular weter pumping system then , Never mind .
- Q:97 izusu rodeo has constant squeal after timing belt, water pump and all belts being replaced what could be the cause. It sounds pretty bad.
- I'm really sorry to here that you had to change so many parts without any result. my car developed such a problem and finally it was traced to guide pulley bearing. try to locate sound by keeping the hood open and listening from all sides. if in doubt you can take out the suspected belt and run engine - very short time if it is alternator. best of luck.
- Q:Iv got a 2002 Chrysler Sebring with a 2.7 in it and recently it started leaking coolant, its been determined that i need a new water pump. Iv gotten quotes from various places and various prices but there all telling me i need to replace different things. One guy said i need a timing kit, the other guy said i dont need a timing kit but need valave covers and a couple other things, another said i dont need anything but the pump itself. Im lost and the leaks getting worse and i need to make a decision but dont know what to do. Some insight from you helpful people would be great!
- typically labor is 300-400 for that task. that scenario would dictate when one is done, both should be done. needed or not. getting them on the same maintenance schedule so to speak. thing is, is that the 2.7 uses timing a chain. not a belt. belts require changes. chains may or may not. in this case, there is no maintenance interval for the timing chain.
- Q:I have a 94 Mazda b2300 it was working great last week then all the sudden it started making a knocking sound and started to overheat! Its still drivable but it overheats if i go far! A friend told me it can be the Water Pump so i put a new one, I was told it can be the Thermostat so i had a new one put in. It worked for awhile but began overheating again. - Tell your friend thanks bot no thanks for any more automotive advise. If you had checked your upper radiator hose for HEAT with the engine running 20 minutes you didn't need a thermostat or a water-pump. Lets do things in the order of cost and effectiveness: #1. Ask a trusted private mechanic to do an inexpensive *cooling system pressure test to see if you have any external or internal coolant leaks. #2. Replace the electrical temperature sensor in the water-jacket. #3. Cooling systems need to be drained flushed and *cleaned every five years. When was yours done last? #4. You're five years overdue for a new radiator even with the best of cooling system care. When was the last time that your cooling system has been drained. flushed and cleaned with a one part powered acid cleaner? By now, your five years overdue for a new radiator

- This could be a leaky gasket or the pump bearing and seal is defective. Gasket: Drain the antifreeze from your system. Remove the pump and clean both surfaces. Install a new gasket with proper compound and re install pump. You will have to top up your antifreeze properly. Defective seal/bearing Replace the water pump. Some auto parts stores will take your old pump back on exchange. the amount of money credited to you is not much but it keep the old water pump out of the landfills.

- Your okorder /... Aside from the thermostat, it could be the coolant temperature sensor. I don't know how mechanically inclined you are, but a quick check to see if it is the thermostat... Let the car get to operating temperature, pop the hood and squeeze the upper and lower radiator hoses. if the top one is hot and the lower is not; its your thermostat. As far as your AC goes, did it suddenly start blowing hot air? Do you hear squealing when you turn it on?
- Q:Im changing my water pump and it has a pully that the belt gos on in front of it and the pully has 1 big bolt in the middle of it and like 4 small ones around it and when i try to undo the bolts the pully turns and im not quite the mechanic but i do know that the pully has to come off 1st so how do i take out the bolts without the pully turning???? and yes the belt is off and battery id disconnected and the car is not hot it hasnt ran in days. and it has a 3.4 v6
- actually it works better if you leave the belt tight on the pulley, the tension holds the pulley so you can loosen the bolts, and even that big one, I think, you will need a decent pulley puller to get that pulley off, I suggest you buy a new water pump if you can afford it, otherwise you will but putting water pumps on every year or so, as rebuilt are not long lasting, best of luck, be careful around that radiator with the fan.

- Q:looking for ideas and info to build a simple and rustic wind powered pump for a backyard pond. I don't want to use any elecricity and I would like to create something that once its made, will be trouble free and simplistic in operation. I esp. want info regarding the vane design and the method of drawing the water. I would appreciate any web sites, but I don't want to buy any pre-designed thing or plans.
